Uncertainty.....Friend or Foe?
These are definitely times of uncertainty, and how we look at this will determine if we sail on thru with freedom and prosperity, or we live continually trapped in fear with our little ships sinking in a huge storm. We have the choice and the power.
Uncertainty is commonly thought of as something to fear, but in order for us to have freedom and prosperity, we need to look at it as a “friend,” embrace it, accept it and allow it to be a catalyst to that freedom and prosperity. As Eckhart Tolle states in his quote above, how we perceive and deal with uncertainty will actually determine what we experience. So as we have been discussing these various universal laws the last few months, these are what give us the power to transmute uncertainty to creativity, freedom and prosperity.
Let’s review these laws and see how we can apply them to uncertainty.
Whatever you resist, persists. Remember in our discussion on this law, you had to perfectly and unconditionally accept whatever it may be with no judgment on it or making wrong, and as you did this, it would transmute. We need to embrace uncertainty, accept it, love it unconditionally, and we will see it transmute into “increased aliveness, alertness and creativity.” If we do not accept it, we will become very fearful and insecure. Tied into this, is the Law of Expansion, whatever we focus on, expands. So if we focus on fear, lack, etc, that will expand. Uncertainty can tend to make us focus on “What If’s” and that usually make us focus on the negative, so then the negative is what will expand. And thirdly, remember, that what we fear comes to us. So again, the “What If’s” can become real, because of the fact of this law, So we can see, what we do with the feelings surrounding uncertainty become key to our lives and businesses and determine whether we go thru with freedom and prosperity, or fear and misery.
With uncertainty can come a feeling of powerlessness and victimization. Others are causing our problems and we don’t know what is going to happen, because we don’t know what other people are going to do. This feels true, but the universe has a law to help us with this as well, and to view it in its true reality.
This next law to help us is the Law of Detachment or Allowing. This is the law that states that we need to drop all emotional attachments (negative or positive) to what others are, have, or do. This is not just being tolerant, where you let them be, but you hold negative emotions about them or what they have or do. In practicing this law, you will neither like, nor dislike, you will have no emotion about it or them, it just is, they just are! When we can look at uncertainty this way, not attaching an emotion to it, but understanding that it just is, then we can begin to actually look at it differently. If we can look at ourselves and others in this situation this way as well, we will begin to see our perspective change. We will begin to see that we are not victims, We will begin to experience empowerment in our lives. We will actually begin to have freedom, creativity and prosperity in these uncertain times. We will actually look at uncertainty as the gift that it is. We will begin to look at ourselves and others differently and begin to feel like we are all in this together, rather than playing the blame game with ourselves and others. This law ties into the law that states whatever we resist, persists. So again, unconditional acceptance for both situations and people (including ourselves) is the ticket to freedom and prosperity.
So as we apply all these universal laws that we have mentioned, we will eventually get to a point where we look at uncertainty as a friend, something to embrace, and once we are at this place, the sky is the limit! If we understand the universe to be an infinite resource and that we have the creative power to direct our lives and how that infinite resource can work for us, now uncertainty becomes an “exciting adventure.” Instead of being tied to our past conditioning and processes, we have a wide open field to do and be whatever we want, and we have the power of the universe at our finger tips. This is the law of Attraction or The Secret, as has been talked about all over the media. The Law of Attraction is what gives us the power to make our lives and businesses anything we want them to be. Anything!!!, So let’s use the Laws consciously to our benefit, rather than unconsciously to our detriment.
As humans, we all know that in order for us to get out of our old ways or ruts sometimes, we actually need uncertainty. When it is accepted and viewed as a “friend” or an “adventure”, then it actually becomes the catalyst for change, freedom and prosperity, and will actually bring out the best in us, if we choose. So embrace uncertainty. Be excited about our uncertain times and keep your eyes and heart wide open to see what may be coming your way, as you use these universal laws.
The beauty of this for me is how empowering it is. As always, with empowerment, comes responsibility. There is no one else but you that can make or break your world, your business, no one! But again, that is a beautiful thing, because we have been given all we need to make our world whatever we want it to be. We have all these universal laws, we have the infinite power and resources of the universe at our disposal, and we have our free will choice to do whatever we want to do. How beautiful is that!
So my heart in this matter is to help small business owners/entrepreneurs to be creative, powerful and prosperous during these uncertain times. Stun the world with your energy and prosperity. Make the difference and make the changes, by unconditionally accepting uncertainty and making it work for you, and we will see our world change one person, one company at a time, and then no matter what the media or the powers that be say, they will not be able to stop the awakening of our planet and prosperity for all.
