3 Strategies for Getting Others Talking About Your CPA Website

Give others reasons to talk about your CPA website and your firm becomes a natural part of conversation. Potential clients come from these impromptu conversations all of the time, it is a true case of social marketing. Remember the best form of advertising is word of mouth. Here are three ways to get people talking about you and your firm. Helpful Information

Most important, of course, is content full of helpful information that potential clients can use. Any accounting website hosted by CPA Site Solutions has plenty of content available. Including your own fresh and unique content, such as a blog, is an important part of this process.

Fun Widgets

You can add some fun elements such as the Free Debt Clock, tax due date countdown meters etc. You can also add a fun online poll or create a unique signature. Adding humor to your accounting website is not something that most customers would expect from an accountant. This is a great way to show your clients that you are more than just a tax professional. Give them something to relate to and humor is a great way to accomplish this.

Client Spotlights

Another way to have your website, and ultimately your firm, talked about is by showcasing your clients. Rhodes, Young, Black and Duncan set a great example of this.

Their firm has set up a regularly changing spotlight page and then an archive of previous client spotlights. Doing this is not only helpful for the client, but gets people within different social venues, talking about your firm.

Remember the next time you are reading a blog, including this one, you might take some time to offer helpful comments. Not only is it fun to do, but grants some search engine benefits as well.

When you can get your clients talking about you and your firm to their friends you're advertising. This form of advertising is stronger and more effective than any other traditional methods available. This type of "online networking" is a long term strategy so give it some time to work, but in the end this is how you land the big fish so stick with it.

Social Media Marketing Category... Social Media Marketing Category... - I agree that a social media marketing category would be useful and added my vote. I would include "bookmarking" sites in the mix as well. Such a category would be useful for several reasons: 1. Talking about SMM, its purpose and networking strategies and tips. 2. Discussion of the various SMM sites. 3. New about new sites and developments. 4. Helping to build each others SMM networks.
