Description: Salina Amadu is fifty years old. She is married and has given birth to four children. According to her, all of her four children are out of school and currently working for a while. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in a fishing community called Aquase, near Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. Salina works to support her husband financially in taking care of the family. She trades in fish. She sells both fresh fish and smoked fish. She buys fresh fish from the fishermen in her community and smokes some herself. She distributes the fish to the retailers and food vendors in her community. Mary wants a loan to buy fish in bulk so as to be able to supply more customers. She says food vendors also buy from her in bulk. She has been in business for three years.
