Do You Want to Know How my Life Changed For The Better?

People are always asking me how I changed my life so drastically, how I changed my life for the better. We all want something different, whether we are searching for an inner happiness or success beyond our wildest dreams, we all want something.

I will offer you an example of one choice I made that changed my life forever, but not for the better. In fact my life changed but not in a positive sense, in fact the choice I made meant I was worse off than I was before I made my choice. One day I decided to drive my vehicle, not long after I had been diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time. I crashed into a concrete bollard in a car park and it meant that my Insurance premium doubled and all the hard work and extra money I had gained working in a job I did not enjoy was all wasted. I had made a choice to drive whilst severely stressed and not in the present. My brain was too busy worrying about breast cancer to concentrate on driving safely.

At first I cried and told anyone who would listen that I was stupid, and I did indeed feel very stupid. I then took ownership of the choice I made, I lived with the consequences, accepted I had made a mistake and I moved on with my life.

One example of how I would not let anything hold me back from moving on with my goal of working towards the life I truly wanted and could only dream about at that point.

I recently wrote my 2nd book, The APE Philosophy, For Everything Money Can't Buy, because I wanted to share with the world my simple philosophy. I know that my philosophy works for anyone, if they really want to change the life they have for whatever reason.

We all read lots of books that claim to help us, offer us the magical secret or formulate to change our lives. I offer you all a simple philosophy which obviously works because here I am today living that philosophy!

If you want to learn more please connect with me I will be happy to let you know how to move on with your life too.

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?
Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth -
People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: Favorite Christmas movies Re: Favorite Christmas movies -
I do have to say I've never liked[i:1rxsgr0t] It's A Wonderful Life[/i:1rxsgr0t]. He spends all his life having his hopes and dreams shattered, feeling miserable, and its only at the end of his life that he can look back and realize how many friends he has, etc. But that doesn't change the fact that up until that point he was miserable![/quote:1rxsgr0t] I love the sentimentality around watching that movie with your Mom! Chtistmas is made up of all those sentimental things. "It's A Wonderful Life" is all about perspective, much in the same way that Scrooge is 'realigned' in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" - which I listen to on CD every year (sometimes twice!) Happy Christmas Everyone! Regards Martin
