I Live by a Simple Philosophy Which Helped me Become Successful!

I remember when I was a High School Student in England, where I was born, and I was always looking at other students and wondering why I was not a top achiever like them. Why did I lack motivation and thought that everything was just too hard. Looking back now, with the wisdom I acquired over time, I realise I over analysing everything. I thought too much and I had this idea that if it was too simple it was probably not the right way to go.

Many years later I now know the answer I was searching for all those years ago. What changed my way of thinking and how did I move forward with my personal and business life. Once again the answer I come up with is simple, I changed the way I thought, it was my decision. I am a people watcher, always have been, mostly due to the fact that I have spent a lot of time alone and watching people can make time appear to go faster. I realised that the successful people in life have a different attitude to people who want the success but do not want it enough.

One of the first positive changes I made in my life was to ban the word fear from my vocabulary, along with the word scared, and also the ever important words I will do it tomorrow!

Fear of the unknown, fear of change, and feeling scared holds us back, we put ourselves into freeze frame mode and refuse to let go and no one can change that, we have to do that for ourselves.

The next positive change I made to help me move forward was to open up and let people see my personality, my openness and my trusting nature. I am a bubbly personality, but never believed in myself enough to shine and stand out. Maturity definitely helped me with the transitions I was working through, experiences in my life good and bad made me the person I am today. I learned by all the challenges in my life and my instinct pointed me in the right direction, one step at a time.

One day the penny dropped, I realised I had lived by a simple philosophy all my life, sometimes without even realising it. I sat and looked back over time and knew, without a doubt that I had found the secret to success. In fact everyone else probably knew the secret too but did not realise it, yet.

The time was right to share with the world The APE Philosophy, For Everything Money Can't Buy, which would be the title of my 2nd book. I knew I wanted to share with others my simple philosophy and show them that success is not rocket science, it is something we can all have.

I truly believe that we tend to over complicate things in life. Rather than looking at a situation or an idea with a simplistic view, we direct our thought process to processes that take a lot of time, effort and sometimes we really do not understand at all. Why not go back to our grass roots, view the world through the eyes of a child, the child we once were. It may be perceived in our modern world that unless we make something appear difficult, it may not be deemed worthwhile.

Sharing with you all The APE Philosophy, For Everything Money Can't Buy means that you will all have the chance to work towards your success, in a simple and effective way. Why make life more complicated and difficult if we can help it?

How Quick is That How Quick is That - Just to let you know that as I'm not as sharp as I might be in the ftp sort of world, I had a problem today with uploading a new site. Hostgator 'Live Chat' fixed this for me in two minutes flat and didn't make me feel I was an idiot at all (at least anymore than I felt myself). As I'm in the UK and ringing early am for me here, I thought that 'Live Chat' might have been EST, so off for me, but no, they were there! BTW I'd spelt my nameservers slightly wrong - duh! Now that's what I call service. Regards.
Re: Have You ever helped a complete stranger? Re: Have You ever helped a complete stranger? - Yeah I have helped complete strangers on many occasions. Given lots of money to homeless people. Given rides to people I don't know. Helped people carry things when I could see they were struggling with it. Bought several people I don't know meals at restaurants when it was obvious they needed some help. And many other things. I wouldn't consider myself to be a saint but I have no problem helping strangers when the situation arises. I've also been helped before by strangers many times but I can't think of any specific examples right now.
