How word of mouth online can trigger brand perception

We’ve all heard it – referrals are the best form of marketing, and you would probably be right to an extent. Most people want to associate with a company they can trust and have confidence of meeting expectations. Give a customer great service, the chances are they may just tell their friends and influence them to try your services too.

Social media and to some degree, blogging, use this structure too, but in a different context. Retweeting and leaving comments provides a channel to reach a wider audience. The reach and destination is unlimited and therefore acts as a great tool to expand globally.

A retweet is reproducing a valuable tool or service within the social sphere. If someone tweets ‘Exceptional marketing agency based in Kent committed to customer values and result’ and another follower retweets that comment, it should be to the value that they believe this to be true enough to reproduce to their own followers.

Blogs are a company tool sure, but customers are given the opportunity to leave comments. If potential customers are visiting the company website, they are more inclined to continue their interest in the wake of positive feedback.

If people are positively talking about your brand online, than your reputation can only increase. Interacting with social friends frequently online can eventually produce a productive and strong relationship even if you have rarely met them.

Get online and be social as a company! Using these two influential tools to build a community around your brand can have serious benefits long-term.

Greg believes passionately in trying to help clients maximise their return for their investment and ensure they get the sort of attention they deserve. Their success over the years has meant they are able to offer a wide range of services to help any business improve their sales. This was further added to by the launch of TMC Training, a sales training division set-up to help business get the most out of their sales force. Greg believes that a company’s sales team are one of their most important assets and by training them to work more effectively, can help any business grow, even in these tough times. Re: How to Promote a MLM Business? Re: How to Promote a MLM Business? - Hi Stacey, You've raised a few issues there. There a many MLM companies out there that have strict policies on how they can market there products. There are pro's and cons for advertising on the internet and there are also pro's and con's for simply using traditional word-of-mouth advertising. I would consult your company before doing anything, but I would consider networking on forums and social media sites, not advertising, but selling yourself which is what you want to do. If you can sell yourself, the other person will buy whatever you are selling behind the scenes, cause they trust you. Internet advertising has it's down sides. It's a great way to brand yourself, but the internet is saturated with people trying to brand themselves. You sound like you're doing pretty well with your business, and if I was in your predicament I'd be doing just what your upline mentor is telling you do and to talk to more people. But, that can be on the street, or on the social media online. I Know of a few people in the industry who would have no hesitation about walking up to people in the supermarket and starting a conversation, but that takes confidence and practise. It's not easy and can be a challenge to duplicate sometimes. I hope this has helped. Let us know how you go! Mark

You have elaborated there almost all of the cool strategies in marketing a business online. As we all know that's the best thing and the easiest way to market a site..And as a webmaster I can truly say that no matter what technique, the best of all strategy is the "word of mouth"..and of course you have to mixed it with good customer treatment and high quality products...
Re: I need low budget marketing idea !!!!! Re: I need low budget marketing idea !!!!! - [quote="Nana":1uvgqaxl]I am probably being "Ms. Obvious" by posting this but.... Word of mouth! It's free and really effective! Tell everyone you know and get them to tell everyone they know and so on.[/quote:1uvgqaxl] Nana, With respect to your opinion because I wholeheartedly agree, how would you track your businesses are coming from "word of mouth" and ensure everyone is telling everyone about your business? Any idea you can suggest? Warmest Regards, Takuya
Usher music leak Usher music leak - I think it's great! Especially if Usher is "acting" pissed that this happened. Hey! People love drama and when it comes from a high profile celebrity it creates enormous word of mouth. Usher isn't shy to try new things out and anytime I hear gossip from someone else before I hear it on TV or Radio means there's some good Word of mouth happening. That's why some days I really enjoy the subway rides (I don't get to do it too often nowdays) - there are so many conversations going on and I heard this rumor about Ushers music leak.
Re: When to give away your product or service for free Re: When to give away your product or service for free - Yes, Annelly, word of mouth (or writing in this case) is definitely one of the most powerful ways to advertise. Glad it was successful for you!
