The evidence of the facts will always defeat any misbelieve you encounter. The beliefs you have that are not supported by truth are only yours and will never prosper. They may influence others but when they are found to be false, you and them will suffer the loss. The confidence others have in you and their esteem you for will be destroyed.

Often people take their beliefs as the basis for their feelings and attitudes toward others and things. Many times this is the only thing we have to support them, but we must be open-minded until the facts appear. We all believe things but may not have the details to verify their correctness and this is where the problem begins. We have opinions on everything yet the foundation of those opinions may not be based on any truth. Judging people and situations only by appearances or someone else’s viewpoint will cause us to be mistaken.

The facts of a matter may never be considered until the situation has become disastrous. Others are rejected and separated from, who hold different views or we have been “told” are wrong. We take the statements of others as the truth even though they may be tainted with misunderstanding or personal feelings. The underlying facts get buried and are hidden under the conversations and complaints of those involved and may never be revealed.

Believing others is honoring to them and strength to us but the facts of every matter is still most important. Everyone has those who they consider mentors and teachers they look up to and we need them but they are human also. The facts and the evidence it provides must be the point where everything begins. Without the foundation of the truth in every matter our beliefs and our confidence in it will fail. Everything must be rooted and grounded to grow and be strong enough to build upon.

Basing your life on fact and truth is the only way to achieve the satisfaction you desire. It is how everything you do and say must be done. Without it you are living a lie, which will eventually be seen, and not only you but also those close to you will reap the fruit of your labor. Like the wise man in the parable of Jesus, in the Bible, build your house upon a rock, which is the truth.
