Face The Truth About Yourself

Truth is the desired answer for any question and we know the importance of always having it to base decisions on. We are always trying to establish truth in every situation so the responses we receive are valid and we can intelligently make a determination of the results. This is why any experiment has a control group to have a basis to evaluate the other groups. Without truth there wouldn’t be a standard by which to judge final examples.

Truth is very important to everyone. We teach children to never lie and the consequences of it. People who are constantly untruthful are seldom-close friends and usually can’t be trusted. Those suspected of crimes are submitted to lie detector tests, repeatedly asked questions to verify their story remains the same and some times even means of torture are applied. Truth is one of the most desired traits people can have yet it is the one each individual refuses to accept in their on lives. We expect and demand it in others yet we refuse to allow it be acknowledged in our own lives. When final results aren’t satisfactory to us we immediately begin assigning blame. It is always someone or something else’s fault and if we had been in charge things would be different. Many times we know we are the one who failed but we can’t admit it because we wouldn’t be projecting the image we want seen. Our ego or status would be clouded and people would think less of us. This may or may not be true but what does that matter, you are in control of your life.

How much better do we feel when we know we are in control of ourselves and others are only outside influences that only affect me if I permit it. I make my decisions and am responsible for carrying them through. No one can force me to act unless I allow him or her to and again that is my decision. Don’t let defeat, pity and blaming others be the factor that decides your live. Face the truth about yourself and let it guide your actions.

LinkedIn Useless LinkedIn Useless - I've been on LinkedIn for about a year and have found it useless. I've upload a few contacts and have some friends conneted to me but no business has come from it and most of the requests I made got stopped somewhere along the way. Face to face networking is the best way!
Re: What's the rule on using emoticons? Re: What's the rule on using emoticons? - I use the Smiley Face a lot when communicating with subscribers and affiliates. So far, I don't think I've gotten into any "trouble" for it. I do, however, agree on avoiding other types as we never know how one could interpret it.

Me Too - So.... Me Too - So.... - I write. Its a form of 'pull' marketing that suits me, though I'm quite an outgoing person. I know all the stuff about it not being me, 'they're just not ready yet'. Truth is I'm not good with rejection and will walk if I get too much of it - so I do it differently. Each to his own I guess. Still, I wish I had the guts to do those 500, just to say 'I did it'! Will read that article!
Re: Hit or Miss: Dancejam Re: Hit or Miss: Dancejam - There certainly are a lot of these video exchange sites out there. There's another one I found out about just two weeks ago - probably because they paid big bucks to be on the TV show NCIS. Called...okay, I'm having a senior moment.... I Can Beat That .com or something similar. Rather than videos, people upload t heir best photos for Best Ugly Face, Best Air Guitar photo, and so on. I looked at it just to see if the NCIS guys were actually on it, and they are... but never bothered to go back as its not something that interests me...
