With the growth and popularity of the Internet, this is the place everyone is looking for the next gold rush. All of the clichés about getting wealthy run wild, the pictures of life without problems is beautifully painted and everyone is jumping at the opportunities. Most of us have tried many different avenues to satisfy our desires to leave public employment but comparatively few have achieved it. The options are many and finding the one that suits each of us is a tedious chore. We search for the right fit and attempt to be successful at each one yet there always seems to be something missing or it’s just out of our reach. Willing to spend the time and effort to learn and do as we are taught, our dreams are still broken and cast at our feet. Becoming discouraged we begin our search again for the chance to fulfill our desires.

This is when the problem arises, with everyone wanting to get rich quick, it makes the possibilities of online con artists preying on the unsuspecting much greater than anywhere else. They know what the public is chasing and if it looks good someone will pay their hard earned money for it. People run from one point to the next with their money in hand waiting for anyone with a promise of success to take it. The cost is usually heavy and the rewards are few but who can put a price on a dream and that is what the scammer is counting on. People do make money on internet but the decisions must be careful and thorough, doing your due diligence and evaluating each factor will help prevent making expensive mistakes.

The areas of interest among web users are so widely varied that an honest business offer exists online for everyone. The biggest problem I have found is most fail to have the education system available to train their associates how to market their product. Normally, they introduce them to the items and a small explanation of what to say to whom and they’re on their own. Each one is expected to learn as they go and those lessons come hard and often. That is why the failure rate of people starting a new business is so great; there is no method to operate by. This failure is also in the sponsoring levels, they haven’t been taught how to lead and guide the consultants and everyone is running around blindly. There must be a better way to conduct a business.

The need for marketing education is beyond our realization and if you have been part of a business venture you have experienced it. The search for knowledge and training in online and offline advertising processes can be vast and expensive. In the past, no course of study included all the aspects of merchandising but that is no longer true. Re: Which would you start: a Blog or Online Community? - It is a difficult decision to make. Lets start it this way - What are you more interested in? Money? or Friends? or Both? If its purely Money, then Blog might be an appropriate answer. But consider this - It will be people (visitors) that will bring traffic to your blog and then Money will follow. This will be possible after a time and during this time it will be your friends who will be the starters. If you are looking for friends only, then its true that not many will be interested in knowing how you have beaten them in the game or the other way round. So it will be preferable to have a Forum where they can share ideas with you and others. But you can share your insider knowledge with them and invite comments from your Blog. QuickBooks vs. Microsoft Money vs....? - I have always used Microsoft Money to run my business - accounting, invoicing, etc. It came with my computer when I got it and integrated well with my online banking system so everything is a breeze. It only takes 30-60 minutes every quarter to do the bookkeeping (keep in mind that I have a very simple business - no inventory, very little invoicing, I do all my payments by credit card, etc). Is QuickBooks or Money the best accounting tool for small business owners? Or is there something even better?
