Make the Game Bigger Than You

Make the game bigger than you? What do you mean make the game bigger than me? Why do we play the game the way we play it? Is it only for me and mine or is there a bigger picture involved? What do I plan to accomplish by investing the time and effort to play this game. Who will benefit from my labors and how? No matter what game we play, at a work place, in business, in social circles, in our families or even in life itself, we must realize for whom and why we are playing it.

Seldom do we play the game for the sake of the game. There is always an agenda behind what we do even though we may not consciously realize it. That motive will vary with every person yet it is still there. That is why we say, make it bigger than you. If you do things only for the enjoyment then always add another aspect to it and make it enjoyable to others also. When it’s for an income, do your best so your employer or others involved will also achieve more income. Taking a moment to consider others will increase the reward of what we do. It also increases the feeling of accomplishment when it is shared.

Achievements that are shared always give the partners a sense of being included and acceptance. It fulfills the need we all have to be of worth to someone else as well as filling the emptiness of being alone. As we join forces with others each can gain knowledge and information and the relationship will grow to new levels of respect and appreciation. Once we realize the pleasure of including others we will attempt to do it more, which will advantage both parties.

So no matter what GAME you are playing remember it is more enjoyable if the experience and rewards are shared. There is much more to be gained through camaraderie than most people realize and the pleasure of including others will last longer than the game.

Re: Quote of the Day - "The only people witho Re: Quote of the Day - "The only people witho - Thanks for sharing this Evan, there are some very powerful quotes in there, I particularly like this one:- You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully. regards, Mal.
Re: I will be away Re: I will be away - Hi Guys Thanks for the good wishes. I had a really relaxing time and as soon as I get caught up will upload some pictures of the Big Game we saw on some of the drives. No lion GT as these parks are privately owned and they don't want predators who will eat the herbivores that they have paid a lot of money for . Saw some elephant though and rhino which was great.
