One More Great Day

One More Great Day

     Yes, it is another great day. Where I am the sun is shining and the temperature is in the 60's. But the greatness of the day doesn't always come from the weather; it usually comes from our attitude. If we begin the day dreary and down the day will probably go that way also. If we expect every thing to be bad, then that is normally how it turns out. We expect failure and we get failure, expect problems we get problems, expect disappointment we get disappointment. It's hard to believe that no matter what we expect that is usually the outcome. Are our thoughts so connected with our lives that we have control over situations or is it that what we think are the only things we see occur. Whether be believe our minds control the outcome or not is a personal view, but we do know our attitude does control how we respond to situations.  Isn't it always easier to begin with a good and positive attitude and know problems can occur, than let the situation begin bad and uncontrollable. Beginning positively helps us respond to adversity that way.  Anger and frustration don't seem to be as prevalent or uncontrollable if it's tempered with a   peaceful attitude.                                                                                                          

     Knowing all this we should start each day with the positive mental gratitude and expectation of the great things that can be accomplished in it. Each second has the possibility to change our lives completely and a change like that is one that is permanent and lasts indefinitely. No matter how our day may begin we have the ability and opportunity to adjust our thoughts and feelings toward a better mindset. We don't have to allow outside influences to control us. We all can be the person we want to be, especially in our spirit and minds.
