Prove It

Just prove it, show me it’s true, take away my fears, and give me a guarantee so I can trust you. With so many scams and get rich quick schemes today most people are afraid to trust anyone. They feel they are at the mercy of every con artist alive because of worldwide communication and how easily information is stolen. People are looking for someone to trust and proving that is as difficult as helping them improve themselves.

This is the statement often made to others when something sounds unbelievable. They want you to convince them what you are saying is true. Often this is an almost impossible task because a skeptical mind will always find another way to reject the facts. Every sentence is questioned and will require further explanation, only leading to more questions. If the person isn’t open to the thoughts and ideas being presented it is a fruitless effort.

The burden of proof normally falls on the person who is involved in the activity, but this can be an unfair assumption. Take for example, much of religion is based on the faith of the believer, without that faith people don’t accept those truths. Yet when they see a change their faith begins to grow, which can be the case when a “bad” person is redeemed or saved by Christ and they are no longer their “old” selves. This becomes physical evidence and verifies what salvation will really accomplish in mankind.

Even after all of the evidence is presented others may still be reluctant to accept it. If you can actually handle an item then the truth is plain, but if it is a concept it is based on each other’s trust. That is why accepting precepts and beliefs, which have no physical properties, must be personally proven. Often this is the hardest type of proof to accomplish because of the variables involved, if the process isn’t completed correctly the proof may never be established. This will cause the faith needed to fail and doubt of it’s truth to be questioned. We cannot force people to believe what we say so they must prove it themselves.

Making people know we are trustworthy and honest in our dealings is a major obstacle in business today. If your not trusted, you will not help people to see the benefit of any product or service you offer. Being truthful and transparent in every aspect of our lives is the only way to establish ourselves as being worthy of others faith and confidence.

Re: Twiiter an sales Re: Twiiter an sales - Best way to use Twitter in my opinion is to use it to distribute content that helps your target market, not your sales pitch. The whole concept of social media is very simple, be social thats it !! Its not rocket science, interact with people and join the discussion, if you use social media with an outlook of how can I help people I guarentee you will get results, why ? Because the social networks are full of people ramming their services and opportunities down others throats all climbing over themselves to say their the best. Prove that your the best by caring about your prospects and you will win them over in time. A little strategy for you, please feel free to comment on this as i love to find out what others do as well, if you have a blog update it with info that your target market will find useful, this can be as simple as taking a video from Youtube but if you have got your own videos great, and putting it on your wall, then distribute that blog post to your Facebook wall, fan page or through twitter, maybe a little message like "hey Fb friends found this great video on how social media can help you boost sales" just a quick example here, then take that blog post and post it on relevant groups walls for all to see. Share cool stuff and your prospects will come to know like and trust you, we all know what happens after that!! Good luck
