Wait Until the RIGHT Time

How often do we wait until “the RIGHT time” to begin a task? How many excuses can we create to postpone beginning something? How many “things” hinder us and preventing from even starting a mission?

No matter what we attempt to do we always try to schedule it in a convenient manner. We always want things ready and prepared before we begin so things will go smoothly and without any problems. We try to think of every possible thing that could go wrong and have those solutions available. The information we think we will need and a plan of attack is devised, the task should be completed efficiently. That’s when the unexpected usually occurs and our plan is stopped before it begins. Now we must rethink the whole process and reschedule everything.

There is never a “RIGHT” time to begin anything. If we must always have all the bases covered before we begin then we never will. Preparation is good and so is organizing the process but these can be actions that prohibit us from starting anything. Analyzing every detail and trying to be prepared for it will prevent the must important aspect of the task, Action. There is no way to expect everything that will happen and reacting to obstacles is a tool to teach us how to face change.

These same circumstances are especially evident in being an entrepreneur. If we spend all of our time and effort in the planning and preparation stages we will never begin. The only way to make a business grow and prosper is also in the action. Yes, we must have an understanding of what to do but don’t think you need to have know everything first. Use what you do know and let yourself grow with the process. People need to see the imperfect side of you so they know they don’t need to be perfect. If all the learning must done before we begin what’s left to gain.

My life has changed sooooo drastically (within 1 yr) since my introduction to these laws (newborn on the way, wife, house, new job, leaving hometown, etc). Plus, understand that these laws are NOT NEW. You have been using them the whole time unconsciously!! Wait till you put conscious/guided effort into your affirmations. Then the miracles begin!!
Books that should be written Books that should be written - [quote:1m0dcpd7]"The Idiots Guide To Sticking With One Thing At A Time and Not Doing Something New All The Time" [/quote:1m0dcpd7] I myself am a 'constructive' procrastinator... I don't know if I'm alone in this. I have about six or seven projects I'm working on at any given time. I get one project almost done... then my interest is piqued by another project and I work on that... I get burnt out and move to another...I know I do this so I have it arranged such that once I get bored or burnt out with one project, I can step right back into project 1 - or 2 or 3, and get that a little bit more done before moving on to something else. As long as you're organized and know where all your reference material/idea sheets are when you're ready to get back to work on each project, it should be fine. I also find that by stepping away from a project - I still work on it in the recesses of my mind so that when I go back to it - it's with some good ideas that I wouldn't have had if I'd continued on with it originally. Maybe I should write a book on how to Procrastinate Constructively... I've actually thought about doing that...because most people procrastinate, don't they...and very few are ever able to stop.
