Money and Manifesting by Dyan Garris

For many years, I've believed that people have the "power" to make their lives better. I'm a big fan of alternative health and thinking. So, when Dyan Garris approached me about a virtual book tour for her book Money and Manifesting, I was intrigued. In the last few months we have worked together on several promotional campaigns and I’ve learned a lot about Dyan Garris and her motivation. More about that in a few minutes.

I admit that I'm one of the few people who didn't read The Secret. Too much hype and too many expectations... I avoid books, television shows and movies that have that much hype behind them. The law of attraction is a principle that I had heard about, but I didn't know a lot of detail. The idea of being able to attract the things you want by thinking about it seemed… a bit simplistic. So, I was skeptical when I opened Money and Manifesting.

I began to read Money and Manifesting and there are many points that made so much sense from the beginning. For years, I've always said that actions speak much louder than words. It’s easy to SAY the right thing, but the real results happen when a person DOES the right thing. That idea fits into manifesting. Just thinking about what you want to accomplish isn't enough- action is needed. Many people have disagreed with me that ACTION is needed. It should be noted that many of these were people who didn't want to put the effort into making something happen in their lives. It was validating to see those words in print and to have that ideal substantiated in such a logical way.

Money and Manifesting covers so many wonderful topics including: chakra balancing, detailed explanations about each chakra and what it affects, entitlement, poverty consciousness, fear, how people measure success, grounding, centering, integrating, taking responsibility, making choices and much more. In addition to all of this information, Dyan Garris also includes sections which include fictional people. These sections are great ways to give us more depth of understanding about how this information applies to people and how it can impact their lives. As you read the book, you come to care about how the characters are and the stories tie in nicely with the various sections of the book.

Dyan Garris has a very interesting background that lends a lot of credibility to her words. She lives these ideas each day and she spends a lot of time helping other people understand the more complete way that they can make real changes in their lives. At times during her campaigns, I used the tagline – “Its Not a Secret – It’s the Truth”. Manifesting has been a reality for centuries and people need to learn how to manifest in order to make real and lasting changes in their lives.

A bit of background about the author – when I read a non fiction book, I want to know that the author has the knowledge to write a comprehensive book on that particular subject. Here are some details about Dyan Garris' background.

Throughout her career she has taught many people how to use the power of the energy contained in their chakras to unblock the energy field, and use the techniques of integrative healing to unlock their potential and transform themselves into the best they can be.

Dyan writes the Daily Channeled Message and Dear Dyan advice column which post on her website (www.voiceoftheangels.com). Her latest book Money and Manifesting teaches why the law of attraction and the power of positive thinking are not enough for effective manifesting, and exactly what to do about it. Money and Manifesting is a small book in size and the number of pages, but there is a wealth of valuable information packed in these pages. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to go past the laws of attraction and who needs additional information to make things happen in their lives.
