Hooray Crush Is Over

Don't get me wrong, I love the excitement of the grape harvest but this harvest was much longer than usual and me and the kids are thrilled to have my husband, Mike back in our life's and resuming a somewhat normal schedule. Being married to a Vineyard Manager and having our own small family vineyard requires careful planning. Our life schedule is very much tied directly to the seasons. We wake up and go to sleep with the grapes. Now that we have finished the frantic and exciting fall harvest we slip into the winter dormant season and our schedule becomes easier. In the spring the frost alarm is set and once again we are on alert for frost control during the crucial time of bud break of the vines. Some people believe that living in California means not experiencing the beauty and changes of the seasons. Here in Napa we not only experience the seasons but our lives are completely entwined with the land and the seasonal changes. Many years ago a friend sent me a t-shirt that said "crush survivor" and even though it was just a joke, family members that live through the excitement, stress, and long hours of crush can relate. Diana's Wine Tips For my friends who are always searching for a great bottle of wine at a great value check out a couple of my favorite wines that we try and keep stocked in our wine cellar. Beaulieu Vineyards aka BV Carneros Reserve 2000 Chardonnay Was $24.99, now around $15.00 bucks Robert Mondavi Oakville '99 Cab Was $50.00 now $25.00 For tips and regularly updated recommendations when visiting the Valley visit my website at www.gelowcoaching.com

Re: Exotic Tea Shop Website for Review Re: Exotic Tea Shop Website for Review - Hi David - I'm a little late to the party and am just seeing the site for the first time. My first thought is that the banner at the top could be improved. I actually didn't know what the picture was at the start - I thought it was a fish in a glass (I guess the bubble made it look like a fish's eye) - maybe it's just me! If this is an actual store I would love to see Roland in the store as part of a big banner. Roland looks like a really friendly guy and he'd be great on every page at the top! Your first call to action seems to be the newsletter - why not offer some kind of free download to encourage people to sign up for it? If he's also selling his tea online, I'm confused by the Amazon affiliate program on the right - why not push out his top selling products there? His posts are also pretty short - hard to get ranked in Google - if he posted less frequently but in more depth and really let his passion for tea show through he'll have a great shot at getting more traffic. PS. I just finished reading Crush It! today and one of Gary's top 5 ideas for someone else to do is be the internet's expert on tea - sounds like a great opportunity for you / Roland. I recommend the book for all entrepreneurs but particularly that section at the end as it will apply to you. Good luck! It seems like you've already made serious progress on this sit and I'll try to stay on top of it - sorry again for being so late with my feedback!
