So where are you on the struggle continuum

If you’ve ever wondered why an effort at self-change or improvement hasn’t worked as quickly as you might like, you might want to consider how much you value struggle.

What? Me value struggle? I am far too conscious for that……

Your idea of how much struggle or work should be involved before attaining your goals is an important factor in determining how you will reach them -and your gratification level upon "arrival". We always get what we want in the way that means the most to us. Drops in your lap or work like a dog….which one is "better"?

Consider this: human beings want to attain their goals, but it is also incredibly important how they reach them. Human experience is about manifesting thought and desires, in the way that best suits the individual. To some people a goal reached through hard work and adversity is far more satisfying then the same thing dropped in their lap. Think of the lottery. Most people would find it totally exciting to win, but just how satisfying would it be for you? Not reaching one’s struggle quota can make the attainment seem meaningless. So you get what you want the way you want it. How much anticipation and work will give you the ultimate experience?

On the struggle continuum of 1 to 100: If a 1 is someone giving you the winning lottery ticket today, direct-depositing the money for you, and 100 is clawing miles through the desert with broken legs to get the only glass of water, fighting off 10 screaming banshees in the process----where do you lie on the continuum? Where would you prefer to be? A 5, 40, hard-core 95? Will you allow yourself fulfillment from a goodie dropped in your lap? How might that experience be useful?

Many "new age" and self help books and programs teach us that as we clean up our own lives, purify, etc. that our desires will manifest faster and faster. This is true----- and consider your underlying belief system too. Your manifesting capabilities can give you your heart’s desire right now. The more you value this, the more you will experience immediate manifestations of your goals. Conversely, if success would mean more to you if you…worked really hard, overcame challenges and persevered for ….3 years—that is how you will get it. Got it?!

Re: Alexa Ranking Goals Re: Alexa Ranking Goals - Well done those people who are still moving up in spite of the algorithms. Evan just seems to be steadily improving and Mal has made a giant leap. I have moved upwards but find it a constant struggle to stay there (guess that is just to keep me on my toes) still it is great to see how everyone is doing. MichelleJ
Re: Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Re: Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - Sadly, the people who need help the most usually pull stunts like this and miss their opportunity. This person will continue to struggle until someone sets them straight or they give up thinking Internet and network marketing do not work when it's not the industry that is the problem, but the tactics used.
