A recent report released by the Alternative Board suggested that small business owners view 2007 optimistically when it comes to increase revenue and hiring. This is good news for business coaches or executive coaches who specialize in helping this target market.
From this report, more than 80% of the small business owners expect an increase in revenue. Also, within this same group, 60% anticipate on hiring more employees. Yet with all of this good news are still the continued challenges of growing a business including:
1.Sales 2.Marketing 3.Personnel 4.Money 5.Capacity What this data reveals is two important findings.
#1 - Incredible opportunity for all coaches and especially for the majority who are earning less than $20,000 per year #2 - There are no new challenges since man first engaged in the business of business As a business coach or executive coach to capitalize on this good news for 2007, you will need the following:
1.Executable strategic plan including market and sales plans 2.Strategic action plan with all goals clearly articulated 3.Proven results driven coaching process that quickly delivers the desired business outcomes 4.Proven coaching tools to reinforce your coaching process 5.Testimonials that include measurable outcomes and not just “feel good” descriptors 6.Coach or mentor if your income is less than $30,000 by June of 2007 Time is quickly running out if you wish to take advantage of this good news if your target market for your executive or business coaching practice is small business owners.
