Extraordinary Time Management Separates Extraordinary Performances from Everyone Else
Extraordinary workplace performance demands using the most out of the constant that we call time. For each and every day always has just 24 hours or 1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds.
When individuals understand that time is a constant and begin to work with that constant instead of working against it, this is the first step to becoming a great performer within the workplace, your business and even your own personal life.
Unfortunately, many people spend a lot of energy focusing on trying to expand a constant which we all know is impossible unless you can travel back and forth between the dimensions of time. Since time machines so far are relegated to science fiction, then possibly a more practical approach is needed.
Managing time is much like eating an entire elephant at one setting or herding cats. However, when you begin to take just one bite of that elephant and just catch one cat, you can slowly but surely see progress.
Goal setting and goal achievement when using the WAY SMART criteria allow you to make that steady wins the race']);"> slow and steady wins the race progress. Since the T in SMART stands for target date/time driven, you begin to immediately connect your goals to the constant of time.
To further help you to improve your work or personal performance, may require you to rethink about your time management activities. Consider thinking about time as being an investment instead of an expenditure. When we invest in something, we get a more than what we had. However when we spend something, we get less that what we had.
If you truly want to become an exceptional business owner, real estate agent, professional sales person or even C-Level executive, then invest in improving your self-leadership skills including goal setting and goal achievement. The results will truly amaze you.
