How Just One AMP Can Increase Sales
Sales! Must have more sales! Sales! Where can I find new customers? Sales! I am just one person!
These thoughts are shared by many professional sales people throughout the global business world. Sales are the life and breath of any organization. For without sales, companies would wither and die on the vine.
Strategies abound to increase sales. Yes, many of these tips to increase revenue, improve customer loyalty to decrease costs are independent to even somewhat complex. The result is the salespersons are working harder not smarter. For in life, many times the simplest strategies are often overlooked.
What would happen if you made a commitment to meet once a month with someone who would hold you accountable, provide mentoring and it would be a 50/50 partnership? What impact could this have on your results?
Each month, I meet with one person where we discuss and share:
1. Goals achieved for the past 30 days
2. Future goals to be achieved
3. Referrals
4. Ideas to secure new clients
5. Market trends
6. Local business networking events
7. Results from marketing activities
8. Have you thought of …? (New opportunities)
9. Obstacles keeping us from sales success
10. Set agenda for next meeting
This sharing has provided additional focus for both of us and obviously some new ideas on how to grow our respective businesses. We also both Tweet our monthly meeting to encourage others to stop by and say hello. If someone does read the Tweet, coffee is on us. This simple action of buying coffee is the first step in Phase One of the 3 Phase Sales Cycle that I share with my sales coaching clients – Attract Attention.
Through accountability (A), mentoring (M) and having a partnership (P), we are increasing the energy output efficiently and effectively.
