Every minute another business fails in the United States. Will your business join those thousands of other business owners whose dreams have died?

To avoid being one of those doomed businesses demands that you go where you have never gone before and do what you have never done before. Hiring a business coach is one way to avoid business failure.

Business coaching or executive coaching has been proven effective business strategy for business growth. Coaching delivers incredible return on investment from a minimum of doubling to over 1,000 percent.

The real challenge for the small business owner to C Level executive is to find effective business coaches who have a proven track record of delivering results. Some recent research reports show a reverse trend in the coaching as a business strategy. This decline probably has more to do with hiring coaches who are not results focused and process oriented.

How does one find an effective business coach? The easiest way is to ask your fellow business owners or professional colleagues if they have used one or know of someone who adopted this solution to improve business growth. If you receive a name, then do some research work on your own using the Internet. By doing an Internet search on the specific name (make sure you put quotes around the name) you may be able to read articles to press releases about this individual.

Also, you can interview past and even current clients of the business coach. Other strategies are to check out local organizations such as Chambers of Commerce to professional associations.

Finally, remember the ability to deliver the results is the critical deciding factor. No matter how many credentials the coach has, the bottom line is all about what can the coach deliver. Many of the best coaches are not certified by some accrediting institution, but rather are certified by the results of their clients. For these results have taken the business to places they have never gone before by doing what they have never done before.

Re: Business Coaching Resources - You're fortunate when you can find a Business Coach who has experience beyond where you've been and even where you are going. When your budget is slim and even after, it's good to have a mentor. Several of various backgrounds are very useful. They can be teachers, professors, pastors, business people, family members, bosses and former bosses. You have to be clear on what you want and what you desire to achieve, be able to convey it as simply as possible. Stop and listen and don't over tax their time. You should always expect results whether from a Business Coach or Mentors. If you're not gtting results, you're either not focused or you need to upgrade the quality of your mentors/coaches. Always surround yourself by people smarter than you.

The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
