Top 7 Tips to Reach Your Internet Article Marketing Goal of Submitting More Articles
Top 7 Tips to Reach Your Internet Article Marketing Goal of Submitting More Articles
#1 Tip: Format Article
Adopt a consistent format for writing your articles. Using MS Word, my format is to write the title on the first line. Next, I skip a line for the teaser that should be 2 to 3 sentences. Then. I skip another line and list all the key words. Finally, I skip another line for the body of the article. My margins are set at 1 inch and use Tahoma with an eleven font size. This way one page will hold approximately 350 words.
#2 Tip: Use a Simple Checklist
When you check everything before submission, you do not have to take time to make corrections within the submission site. Check for the following:
Key Word Richness: Your title and the first words of your article should be key word rich if possible. Sometimes, this is not possible, but keeping the key words as close to the beginning of the title and article
Content Cohesiveness: Reread your article several times to make sure it makes sense. Our brains many times work faster than our fingers and we see what is in our brain and not necessarily what is on the paper.
Use Google to Verify Uniqueness of Title: The title of your article should be searched using Google to ensure its uniqueness. Make sure you place quotation marks around your title.
Spell Check the Article before Submission: Before you submit the article, use spell check.
#3 Tip: Format Article for HTML Programming
If your article has any bullets or a list of numbers, include the HTML programming code as you write the article. Also, if you desire to bold or italicized specific words, again, use those codes as you construct the article.
#4 Tip: Spell Check Article
Some sites have the ability to spell check. Even if you have already spell checked your article, do it again just to make sure. This is a great quality control opportunity that you should not pass up.
#5 Tip: Check Any Links
If the article submission site allows the opportunity for additional links beyond your resource box, take the time to double check that each link works. Broken links or links not properly HTML coded will delay the submission of the article.
#6 Tip: Submit Multiple Articles
When you submit multiple articles instead of submitting one article and then writing another one for later submission, this actually reduces your time such as logging in and opening up the page to submit article. Also, when you have numerous articles submitted within a shorter time frame such as 15 minutes, you will see your articles approved faster. Faster approval means more people will read your articles sooner rather than later.
#7 Tip: Revisit Your Resource Boxes
Do your formatting of your resource box so that you do not have to make changes during the submission process. If you have the opportunity for 3 resource boxes, create a different message in each one based upon your current marketing efforts such as using the article to direct readers to what I call an opportunity page or what others call a squeeze page.
When you have done all the work on the front end, the submission being the rear end will proceed much smoother and with greater speed. Currently, by using these article writing strategies, I can submit 5 articles in less than 10 minutes.
What are you waiting for? Get busy start writing and start submitting to get all that Internet traffic you desire and realize your goal. By the way, you do have a weekly, monthly or annual goal for how articles you will write do you not?
