Create Your Personal Profit Process and Turn Your Ideas to Income

If you're flooded with business ideas, but still aren't sure how to turn them into a generous income, you're not alone. Ideas are easy to come by, but the road you need to travel to create a solid business from them isn't all that clear to most people.

I'd like to show you how you can transform your ideas, knowledge and skills into a Personal Profit ProcessTM that will make you stand out from all the other people that do what you do and will make people want to work with you.

Whether you are a coach, consultant, author, trainer, alternative health practitioner, organizer or other service based small business service you need to be a star in your niche.

A great example of a personal profit process that resulted into a multinational, multi-million dollar business is the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey. You know exactly what I'm talking about--seven simple steps that began as a book and became a business empire that has transformed lives. Or what about the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series?

So what will you be known for? What will make you stand out? There used to be a real estate broker in our area who had her own agency. She was phenomenally successful and she was known as the hat lady. She had an array of incredible hats and she wore one every day. In all of her marketing materials, ads, and sale signs she was wearing a hat. When people wanted to sell their house they'd say, "Why don't we call the hat lady"?

You need to develop a unique, branded process that people associate with you, your business and the results you get your clients. Once this process is developed you can turn it into income with information products like e-books, go deeper with it in a home study or membership program, offer customized personal help at a much higher price or make it profitable in at least a dozen other ways.

A branded process often includes graphics, flow charts, checklists, unique domain names, branded colors, and a compelling name. It gives your business pizzazz and sizzle. Similar businesses can offer similar products and services, but if each has a branded approach that is slightly different, different clients will be attracted to each.

Tips to help you create your Personal Profit ProcessTM

Once you have your process the next step is to develop that journey into a step by step system. People love systems. They make sense and they're easy to follow. They show that you're not just making it up as you go along and perhaps forgetting a step or two, but that you've carefully thought out and tested your system. You've tried it out and proven that it works. In fact you have testimonials that say so.

It always brings an "aha" moment to my clients when they see that the key to standing out in a crowded marketplace and never struggling lies in their Personal Profit ProcessTM. From this process it's easy to see what products and programs to offer.

Many creative people end up trying to randomly turn idea after idea into a product or service and hope something will stick. It's random. It's like having a bunch of puzzle pieces but never putting the puzzle together. You need to stand out and stand for something that is uniquely yours.

Re: What are your success criteria? Re: What are your success criteria? - [quote="DwayneGarrett":1igrdgib]Out of curiousity, what has to be present for you to know that your business is a success? The top three things for me are: 1. Maintaining a 6 figure income year in and year out. 2. Creating and promoting my own products. 3. Income not solely dependent upon my personal effort. How about yours?[/quote:1igrdgib] I would have to say mine were: 1. Monthly Residual Income that exceeds all expenses by 110% 2. Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".
