Remove Your Income Roadblocks

Do you ever feel like you're doing everything you think you should, yet you're still not generating enough income? You feel there is an invisible wall between you and reaching your dream goals and if only you could pinpoint that wall and breakthrough it, all your struggles would end and you would soar.

Often when you get stuck, all your dreams, plans and goals go out the window because they suddenly seem unattainable and you feel like you're just muddling along day by day. What I see often in clients I've worked with, is that they need help learning both marketing tactics and mastering strategy. And then we need to work on overcoming mental roadblocks, habits and beliefs that can slow down even the smartest, savviest people. We all have them. We just need to be open and honest about identifying them and courageous enough to try to change.

One of the biggest roadblocks has to do with how you present yourself to your market-your "virtual storefront". It determines how people who may be interested in working with you perceive you. Unless you have a real flare for creative expression, this may be what is holding you back.

When I owned restaurants, one of the best attraction tools we used to bring people in the door was how our restaurant looked to people driving by. If it looked appealing and quaint, people would make note and start talking about trying us out. If it had looked like a rundown dive, we would have been really hurting our sales.

The same is true for your business even if your "storefront" is online. If your website doesn't have specific elements that attract people, interest them in what you offer and get them to take immediate action-whether that's signing up for your mailing list or buying-then you are not attracting the "drive-bys".

You could even be driving lots of traffic to your website and it still wouldn't do you any good because visitors would arrive and leave. Yet, with just a few key changes you could begin to see a huge spike in sales. And if you don't know how to get traffic to your website, then that simple roadblock is easy to remedy, in spite of what some Internet marketers would like you to believe. Getting traffic is actually easier than converting it!

Take an objective look at your website and ask yourself:

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then this could be the easily removable roadblock between you and your goals. I've seen this more times than I can count. In fact, 90% of the small business owners who come to me for help have ineffective websites. This "storefront" needs to express the authentic you with words, pictures and video. If it's not, it's time for a change.

I have been a moderator of numerous forums over the years and currently moderate 5 forums including this one, so I HATE forum spam more than anyone. It seriously drives me crazy. All posts that even hint at the possibility of being spam should be removed. Anyone who does it repeatedly should be banned from the forum permanently.
Are you an Opportunity Addict? Are you an Opportunity Addict? - 1) if you find yourself saying yes without thinking about how it will affect your other priorities 2) you have over 10 projects/inventions going on at the same time and this seems normal to you 3) you have spent hundreds and thousands of dollars on manufacturing, prototypes, etc. not to mention thousands of hours of your time....but you havent followed through on any of it 4) most of your projects are falling behind or have completely fallen off your radar....which is fueling your frustration The first step in recovery is to recognize this as a pattern of self sabotage. If you are clear in what your overall goals and objectives are, you should be able to create a lens through which you measure opportunities. You create your life, and your to do list. Change, Add, Remove, Adjust time-lines - whatever you like. But remember that every piece of unfinished business - stays that way J
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.
