How to Easily Save 2 Hours a Day

Hi,

Do you find it frustrating knowing that there must be a better way to manage your time, yet you can't seem to pinpoint exactly what you need to do?

Well here's a simple secret that could easily save you a couple of hours a day.

I've been coaching Greg for only a couple of months and in that time he has made big changes in his business and his life by actioning what he has learned.

Now that he is planning his working day he's found he has easily saved 2 hours a day. That's 10 hours in a basic working week or, in other words, he has gained an additional day a week! Considering his time is worth $120 an hour, he now has the opportunity to increase his income by $1200 a week if you look at it in a time for money scenario or, alternatively, use that spare day to enjoy more personal time with his family and/or pursue other business opportunities.

So what has Greg done differently? Instead of asking clients and prospects when is it convenient to see them, he informs people he is only available at certain times of the day. For him it's in the afternoon. That way he avoids peak hour traffic and has the mornings free to work on his business.

Prior to coaching he wouldn't plan his time and just 'went with the flow'. Unfortunately if you run your business and your life by 'going with the flow', the flow could end up anywhere and before you know it your whole day, week, month, year or life can pass you by.

The Final Word

Small changes can make a massive impact overall in your business and your life. Look at how you can restructure your day so you too can free up more time to spend on what's really important to you, instead of saying 'I'm too busy" or "I don't have much time". You can always make the time for what's most important to you.

Have a great week!

Re: Are you satisfied with your ISP's services? Re: Are you satisfied with your ISP's services? - The same in my case my ISP holds my phone number. What i don't like is that if i have a technical problem the process take to much time and they will never hurry up to solve the problem. Save God this it not happening to often. Another think that bugs me is the advertising .... to many offers and advertisements that are annoying people.
Re: Anyone Uses Elance.com? Guru.com? Rentacoder.com? Re: Anyone Uses Elance.com? Guru.com? Rentacoder.com? - [quote="litekepr":20i29h8l] One of the issues is that their revised fee schedule penalizes people who bid on a lot of projects. I don't need a lot of work to pay the bills, but Elance needs to work on the vast number of projects that are posted, but never happen. I've suggested that they offer some kind of instruction to people who post jobs. I've talked with more people on there that have no idea how to ask or answer questions and so they simply abandon the project. I don't know about others, but I put significant work into coming up with a realistic bid and its a shame to waste the time searching and bidding only to have many of the projects left open. Easily 80% of the jobs I placed bids on - appeared to never be completed. That's a BIG waste of time and effort. Shri[/quote:20i29h8l] Hi Shri, I agree that it can become a waste of time, and it's a shame that so many projects go unfinished. I guess we'll just have to look for other avenues to find work, like some that were suggested. Alan
Re: Promote Websites You Don't Own! Re: Promote Websites You Don't Own! - For most new small businesses jumping into online marketing for the first time I would steer clear of PPC advertising. For a while at least. Without a decent understanding of how search works and the whole PPC thing, including quality score, split testing of ad copy and landing pages, negative keywords, etc., you burn through your money pretty quick while trying to just learn and often end up with a deeply negative return on investment. Instead I would maybe spend that part of the budget on doing more of some of the other things you mentioned. Maybe buy another directory link or two. Another press release. More local offline advertising. Save the PPC for when the budget is not quite so tight and those other marketing efforts are already bringing in business. You can then better afford the learning curve costs and time required to get it right, and most importantly get it profitable.
Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - Let me ask everyone a question: Would you take a job that paid $0.00 but gave you 20% on all sales you made each month? This job required you to buy your own company clothes, company sales materials, website, car, and make you pay for phone & internet. Would you take the job? NO ONE would take that job; especially in today's economy. Why would you spend time & money building a business around just promoting another companies stuff? If you already have a website & have an open spot for a banner...putting an affiliate banner might make sense. But building an entire business around promoting another company is just stupid. I am sure some people make money at it (after many struggles) but you could make more money promoting your own company, your own products, your own services. What happens if you don't have a unique idea, product, or service? The easiest anwer is you don't start a business until you have found your niche. Save all that time you spend promoting other companies stuff and do some research until you find a better business model that produces a much higher ROI than affiliate marketing online. Jeff
Re: What's needed to start a business Re: What's needed to start a business - [i:33aoqwdi]With my little experience, i think all you need is an idea - business idea that solves a problem.[/i:33aoqwdi] An idea is a good start. So is going into business with your eyes wide open, and not believing the oft-heard refrains, "Be your own boss"; Make your own hours"; "Make lots of money!" The truth is that you'll give up one boss and gain hundreds (your customers); you'll make your own hours (working all 24 of 'em sometimes); and you will make money, eventually, but it takes years. I'd recommend starting a business in a field you already know, and that already has a demonstrated large market. You can make a name for yourself by offering a service in a new, better, more creative way than others may be doing. Then, if you listen carefully to EVERYTHING your customers say, they'll tell you everything you need to know to succeed. Yes, we've all heard about that guy Bill, and a few others who changed the world, but for the rest of us, it's a HUGE risk to go into business with an entirely new idea, hoping to teach the world something it doesn't know. Opening any business is risky enough. Save that one for the day when you're bored with your current, successful business, have money to burn, and will be able to laugh when the world doesn't jump on board.
