Improve Yourself, Improve Your Business

For your business to be better, you need to be better, and you don't get better by doing nothing! To do this you may have to get right out of your comfort zone and join a coaching program, go along to seminars where you meet other like-minded people or those playing at a higher level of business than you. There's no excuse not to get off your butt and learn your way to success. Regardless of where you are located events are taking place all around the country regularly as well as on-line. Saying you have ‘no money' or ‘no time' are poor excuses.

For many business owners they spend their whole lives using these excuses and going nowhere. Don't focus on where you are now, but where you want to be. You'll find the money and the time if you seriously want to change.

I recently consulted to a client who is a ‘big picture person'. He had so many valuable ideas to grow his business but couldn't get started. All these ideas were in the future. They were so far away from where he is at the moment, that he couldn't focus and easily got distracted on doing everything else except work on the ideas which would accelerate his success.

This was the first time he had ever invested any money in himself. Dean realised he didn't have the knowledge to move to the next level He was always busy but on the wrong things. His business wasn't growing because he wasn't growing.

Dean made contact with me and he is now on track to having a very profitable business. Now he is implementing, focused and following a plan.

Your ongoing learning (and consistent implementation) can take you from struggling along to soaring high in all areas of your life. Remember your New Year resolutions to make changes in your business and your life? Are you getting the results you wanted? Is your business more profitable? Do you have more free time? Is the quality of your life improving?

If you answered ‘yes,' then take a look at why that is. What have you been doing to get these results and keep doing what's working. And if you're not moving ahead, seriously look at why that is and do something different.

When's the last time you read a book, listened to a CD, got coached or attended a seminar to learn how to do things better?

Or maybe you have too much information and are paralysed to take action

The Final Word

Now, if you're not sure what you need to accelerate your learning and accelerate your earning, then I urge you to take action and invest in a proven step-by-step system that will get you big results.

no-cost Admin help no-cost Admin help - I agree with Wendy. what is the least amount you can start with to hand off to some one else for 1 hour per week. It can be on a pay or unpaid model. Let's say that you want to give away all your routine email correspondence away to someone else. How do you get this done for no out of pocket expense? Well, first ask yourself - what kind of person would take on such a task? What does this task offer in skill development that will be of value to someone? let's call this person who is going to help you an - Intern. The Intern would most probably want to build on the following skills: - Practice written communication - Improve on Email skills - Internet Research skills to answer some email correspondence There are resources out there such as Craigslist and Oodle.com where you can post such a job and you'd be surprised with the responses you will get to help you on such a project. Some of the responses you may get may come from International Students wanting to improve on their written English skills, 60+ individuals wanting to learn more about the Internet and bored stay at home parents...
