Embrace Change
Embrace Change
You may be in the midst of change now. You have started over either because you wanted to -OR- you did not want to, you HAD to. You did not plan on this change, choose it, or feel it is fair.
This new part of your life, your new home, new job, new relationship, new state of being alone, or even your new sense of disharmony barely feels connected to your past or to who you know yourself to be.
While change may be exciting, it may also feel like a burden. You may be entertaining normal thoughts that sound like: "Oh, no. Not again, I thought I was done with change. I am too tired. I am too confused. I do not want to do this hard
work or go through this anymore."
Sometimes things happen to change your life without you having a hand in it and without your consent. In these moments, even when the change is good you recognize how little control you have at times. And just as you can not keep everything the same, you also can not always choose to bring about change in your life. It just happens.
But even when this is true, you CAN always choose how you handle it. You can choose to be mad, fearful, remain stressed-out or tied-up in a knot most of the time. Or, you can be inquisitive, excited and let yourself relax into the flow of change.
There will be times when you feel the upset of change no matter if you created it or not. Of course you will. Accepting the beginning of something new and letting go of what is past can take time so this is understandable. Yet, do not let the upset take over as your primary emotional state. This will only keep you off balance and reduce how effectively you move forward. Instead, feel the upset, spend some time with it, and then let it go so you can embrace and experience the newness in your life. From this vantage point, you can watch for the good things that change brings.

Leanne Hoagland-SmithAre your sales where you want them to be? Will you be one of the few who achieves sales or business success or one of the many who have failed to change? Are you tired of being told you are like everyone else? Then you may find my first book on sales of interest. Be the Red Jacket in the Sea of Gray Suits, The Keys to Unlocking Sales available at Amazon or at http://www.processspecialist.com/red-jacket.htm. This book is a reflection of my no-nonsense approach to improving sales to overall business results. If you are truly committed to making sustainable changes, then I can help you secure a positive return on your investment because I focus on executable solutions not telling you the problems you already know you have. From training to corporate (group) coaching to executive one on one coaching, my approach is to assess, create awareness, build a goal driven action plan and then execute. The bottom line question is "Not do you or your employees know it, but do you or they want to do it?"
