Choicepoint- Put your stake in the sand

Are you crystal clear on what you truly want for your life and for your business ? Have you put your "stake in the sand" for what you want.... for what you believe in? Now is the time.

Author-scientist Gregg Braden teaches, we are in an unprecedented time on the planet and that human beings are moving into higher levels of consciousness. Braden calls the shift of higher consciousness a shift to the 4th Level.

Based on extensive research and calculations, Braden teaches that we are ending a cycle of 26,000 years and that the date 12-21-12 is a significant milestone for humanity. He states that the change that accompanies the this remarkable convergence of cycles is the opportunity for all of us to wipe away patterns that we have outgrown from the past and the perfect time for us to set new healthy patterns and decisions. We are at a time in human history that is on the cusp of great change. One doesn't have to look far to know that this is true. We've watched as many old institutions and ways of doing business are crumbling before our eyes. It is a time to let go of what no longer works and to define and act on what will serve all of us.

Gregg is a fascinating, highly educated, prolific author & researcher extraordinaire and I highly recommend his books. His latest, Fractal Time , goes into great depth and detail about these life changing findings.

The stage is set.

We are at a Choice-Point.

The world is ready for all of us to trust ourselves more and to show up with more grace, more courage and strength. What are the desires of your heart? What are you designed for? What will be your legacy gift(s)? What are the desires of your heart? Trust the answers you receive.

There is not a better time than now, to put your stake in the sand and walk your path.

What do you choose?

Have you overinflated your progress or said you were working when you were really slacking off? When is it ok to lie to a business partner or investor? Where do you draw your line in the sand?
Re: Quote of the Day - Ted Turner Re: Quote of the Day - Ted Turner - [quote="GT Bulmer":jts3cdvg]I think that's a good attitude ... but if I just got up and danced sometime, maybe they WOULD threaten to burn me at the stake![/quote:jts3cdvg] LOL me too! I am the worst dancer ever. But I still do it all the time.
Young electrical engineer Young electrical engineer - I'm 15. I am a Director of B&S Associates, and I also have a 50% stake in the company. It is a Ltd company incorporated in the UK. Underneath the company there are currently a few other businesses. Most are internet-based. I've owned over 10 different businesses so far, but this is my first 'real' company (as in registered and incorporated). Right now doing my exams here in the UK - my last year in compulsory education. I will probably stay on at college and hope to go to university. But I'm a little torn as I want to be able to put all my time in the company - if I do go to uni I am going to have to wait at least 5 more years before I can do that
Raising Capital Raising Capital - I would rather a loan than a partner. However, sometimes that's not always feasible due to lower credit scores, too much other debt...etc. When you absolutely do not want a partner or investor to have a stake in your business or invention and you can't turn to family or close friends without their wanting a piece of the action too, then in that case, you could set up some sort of drve that could get donations that can come from any outside source. Of course that is contngent on how much you are trying to raise. You would also have to be truthful and get people to donate on your behalf and tell themwhat it's for...you would be surprised how many people are willing to donate to hel an entrepreneur!
Re: Best way to start a business? Re: Best way to start a business? - I'd have to agree with christew. When I started my business I really didn't have a clue as to what I was getting into or what it would take to see it through. I had to learn the ins and outs while already running it. I think the best way to learn is to just get your feet wet... or dive right in. I'm definitely a "hands-on" learner, and there's no better time to learn than when you "have" to learn. If I wanted my website to become a success, I was going to have to learn, otherwise it would've failed. Granted I don't think this works for every business out there. This is more manageable when starting an online business, but I do think you need to do your research and learn before starting an offline business. There's a lot of money at stake and a lot more risk involved. In that sense, yes, an apprenticeship might be a viable option.
