Would you build a house without a plan? Would you book a holiday without some idea of your destination? Ever done a jig-saw without a picture?
This is your life – do you have any plans? What? You haven’t given it much thought? Just taking it as it comes and seeing what happens?
Life will pass you by if you don’t have a plan.
What do you want out of life? What do you dream of? Don’t be shy or flippant. This is a serious question because if you’re not working on your own dream right now, you’re more than likely working on someone else’s. Think about it. Where do you want to be three or five or even ten years from now? What do you want to be doing? Write it down and now that you know what you really want how are you going to get there? What is your plan? Work out a strategy. How will the pieces fit to form the big picture? What steps do you need to take? What contingencies do you need to make?
Start planning your life otherwise you could reach three score years and ten but wish for that time over again.
