Finding Your Life Purpose

A squirrel will forage for food, taking care of itself while it nurtures and protects its young. Instinctively they know what they are here to do. For most human beings, life is not that simple: we know that purpose gives meaning to our lives but a lot of people are not clear about what their purpose is.

For most human beings, life is not that simple: we know that purpose gives meaning to our lives but a lot of people are not clear about what their purpose is.


I am very grateful that I have found my purpose in life but I was not born consciously knowing it. I can look back on my childhood, life experiences, talents and unique abilities and see my mission — perfectly clear and congruent. That is the beauty of hindsight.

Most “purposeful” people I talk to agree that your purpose evolves as you grow. Some people expect their life purpose to hit them like a lightning bolt. But that is seldom the case. Discovering your purpose is more of an unfolding like the blossoming of a rose or lotus flower.

The lotus provides a wonderful metaphor for life because each individual, before emerging into light and fresh air, must struggle through the muddy waters of life. Most of our struggles are rooted beneath the surface in the subconscious mind. It is from the depths of our beings that our unique potential emerges. We know we are connected to it when the work we do energizes and inspires us. We enjoy the engagement and the time spent. Every action is meaningful and fulfilling.

The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?

Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: Email Marketing - Yes, true. What kind of changes happened in Email campaigns except the opt-in? Finding the exact target and reaching them is always a challenge. What new methods can we have to reach the new customers? Thanks Robert
Re: Where is the best place to find a web developer? - That's a really tough one. Finding a business partner is like finding a wife - it takes a lot of trust to get the right one. I would try to hang out at tech-related startup events and see if you hit it off with anybody. Good luck!
