Coaching An Organization Using a PragmaticSpiritual Blended Approach
Imagine you are attending a corporate training/coaching session and the session begins with a meditation, and centering, and then stating intentions. Sounds odd, yes? Take it further, and imagine the room is full of accountants, or engineers, or physicians, or attorneys. Sounds really strange, right?
This is what is going on in companies all across the United States. An approach blending pragmatic coach training along with tapping into spirituality is being accepted, and in fact, embraced and adapted as a business practice. Company cultures are shifting and changing to accept spirituality in the workplace.
We have finally realized, after years of pretending the personal aspects of who we are don’t come to the workplace, that we can’t leave ourselves behind. As companies have learned, our lives outside of work come to work with us, because we are comprehensive human beings. When a company acknowledges and honors that the person we are is the person invited and accepted into the workplace, a more productive and happier worker shows up.
The pragmatic/spiritual approach gives employees solid, concrete learning to be better coaches and to use coaching tools to lead people. It also shows employees how to tap into their own intuition and to identify their own beliefs. Often the self-talk or the inner story, which plays over and over again, is what is in the way of the employee being successful and feeling happy at work. This blended approach teaches concepts like:
· using the law of attraction - bringing to you what you want, instead of struggling and pushing to get what you want and using a command/control model
· being a deliberate creator who manifests the things you want without effort
· allowing feelings to be fully felt and expressed in the workplace
· slowing down to stop and breathe
· taking time for appreciation
· encouraging conversations about what is going right and what is working and celebrating successes
· acknowledging each other
· bringing beauty into the workplace
· checking in to see how ideas and thoughts feel in your body and trusting your gut
· using all of your senses
· not being attached to outcomes, and trusting more
· holding the belief that all is well
· allowing things to unfold instead of forcing them to happen
· being still and quiet and really listening to yourself and others
To some, it still sounds a bit “out-there” to bring spirit into the workplace, so I encourage companies to start slow with some pragmatic, traditional coaching and then introduce some less traditional concepts. It becomes apparent that they go together. You don’t just put them both in the blender and mix them up and hope for the best. The system of blended coaching produces a wonderful “smoothie” that tastes great and people crave.
Companies that are already using these techniques are reaping the benefits of a happier, more productive workforce. Skeptical managements no longer care how it works, they only care that it works, and that, for them, is the bottom line.

Protect yourself from Hackers
- I received this from a newsletter from FXpro that I subscribed to. Please read and apply
In the 21st Century internet is widely used for everyday job. Despite the "ease" and free time offered from internet use, one should be aware of the dangers and be prepared to avoid and safeguard him/herself from any attacks his/her computer may accept or even from the "unwanted" e-mails received.
Golden Rules of Protection
When using the internet make sure you have an antivirus program installed in order to avoid intrusions in your Computer,
If you are using wireless internet connection make sure you have your connection locked,
Do not save any official documents on your Computer, such as Copy of Passport, ID, Bank account numbers, copy of cards in case your Computer is hacked or even stolen,
Keep all access codes/passwords in a safe place,
Do not share an e-mail address with any person,
Do not reveal any access codes, passwords to any person,
If you are using a public Computer, ie in an internet cafe, make sure you log out any internet sites you have visited before leaving and deleting the cookies in order to minimize the risk of someone following your tracks,
Regularly change your passwords on your e-mail accounts, or any other account that requires passwords,
Be careful of e-mails received. Always check the e-mail address and in case you believe that this does not come from a person, Company, Organization you might be dealing with always send an e-mail to an e-mail address stated on the person's business card, Company's, Organization website requesting them to confirm that the e-mail address on the e-mail received belongs to them, before you reveal any information,
Always have in mind that an established Company/Organization never uses an e-mail address such as g-mail, yahoo, hotmail etc thus always be careful when you are receiving such e-mails, even if it appears to be from a Company/Organization you are dealing with,
Always remember that a Company or Organization will never require you to send them your login/password/access codes,
When using a website that requires an access code, do not allow the browser to remember your passwords
Coming up with a business name
- I've always been curious about how people select their business names and would love to hear how you came up with yours.
When I first started my company I was selecting between Evan Carmichael & Associates or the Carmichael Organization. The reason was I had read two books by Anthony Robbins and Donald Trump and learned about how they came up with their companies names to make them look bigger than they were when they were first getting started. Robbins chose Anthony Robbins & Associates while Trump chose the Trump Organization.
I settled on Evan Carmichael & Associates and later changed it to Evan Carmichael Communications Group when I incorporated on the advice of my lawyer.
I agree that it is not the most innovative name out there but my business is about building a brand.
I would love to hear how you came up with your company name!

Re: need pricing help please
- here's my opinion that was derived from the person I heard it from (Russell Brunson)
I view internet Marketing products as a Ladder.
At the bottom of the Ladder is ebooks and at the top is One on One Coaching. so the ladder would look like this starting from the Top ($$$) to Bottom($)
One-to-One Coaching ($$$$$$)
Workshops ($$$$$)
Teleseminars ($$$$)
Video($$$)
Audio ($$)
ebooks ($)
I agree with this methodology mainly because of the convenience factor and value from the customers point of view.
