Invest in YOU

Often my Platinum VIP Clients will ask me if I have a coach. The answer is right now I have 6 coaches. You might wonder why a person would have so many coaches.

In my experience, each coach serves a different purpose in making my life and businesses work so well and creating more peace and joy and flow and ease in my already magnificent life.

One of my coaches is a bestselling author coach who has sold MILLIONS of EACH of his books (and you all know his name!). Another coach is a business coach who has taken million dollar businesses and made them into BILLION dollar businesses. Another coach is my laughter and lightness coach helping me create more fun each day. Another coach is my speaking coach who has helped me bring in over $113k since May of this year.

Anyway, I won't tell you about each one, I just want you to understand that for me investing in myself is what makes me a better person each day and what makes my life work better each day, and what allows me to make more money and serve my 3 charities even more.

Back in 1982 when I had NO money, I invested in a home study course that I still use today. I didn't even have the money in my checking account to pay for it and I had to borrow the money from my family and a friend. It was the best investment I made as it changed my self talk and made me a more positive person who then attracted the people, circumstances and money I desired.

Catch the lesson... invest in yourself and in your business. If you don't spend money on YOU and your business, then I know you are spending money the wrong way. Stop eating out, buying coffee out, driving around when you can walk or bike, stop getting new clothes... stop letting your money drift out of your pocket like Swiss cheese holes, creating spaces and gaps in your income. Instead, put money IN your pocket by investing in YOU!

Yesterday I was asked why I greatly reduced the products onmy websites and I said it is because people are in a panic watching TV and following the media over the economy. For me, what the press has to say doesn't determine my success, or my income. My business is booming and I am having a blast working with my VIP clients and serving my coaching students, giving keynote talks to inspire people and writing my books.

Sadly, I understand many people watch TV, read newspapers and allow others to tell them how tough things will be. So, to honor those people in panic and fear, I dramatically reduced every item so there is NO excuse NOT to invest in YOU! Each day is precious, each moment you have an opportunity to create more of yourself and your business. What are YOU doing today to inspire yourself, educate yourself and be wealthier in all aspects of your life?

Hiring good people Hiring good people - Thanks everyone. From the PROFIT companies the success formula seems to be: - Give employees responsibilities that make them stretch themselves - Provide them with a good work environment and happy co-workers - Invest in them by giving them training - Build projects with them to give them some ownership of the idea - Make sure they fit your company culture And almost all of them say: Hire slow, fire fast.
What is your retirement plan? What is your retirement plan? - When we work for others, we've got all kinds of choices. Invest in their pension plan, a 401K, an IRA, savings, etc. I'm curious as to what entrepreneurs do. Obviously since we work for ourselves we never have to retire unless we want to... but what if we want to? What's [i:1wi1t1fi]your [/i:1wi1t1fi]plan to ensure that you can retire comfortably? Also, how many of us have health insurance?
Re: Ridiculous Ideas That Made Millions Re: Ridiculous Ideas That Made Millions - Dear GT Bulmer, Great post and a super article. Good advice on investing especially "Stick to your strengths" Invest in a business you understand. For example a lumber jack would see a good tree cutting tool. He wouldn't understand the next fashion trend in women's high heel shoes. For our inventors invent in a business you understand. If you see a need. You may see an invention.
