Proposals in a Jiff
Here are some easy ways to create proposals:
1. Start off with the thanks. State how and why you are grateful to have this opportunity - regardless of the outcome.
2. Create a summary or agenda of what you are presenting.
3. State what you want the other person or company to get from the proposal - what are the benefits of them hearing or reading your proposal. (To know better if you or your company is a fit, to understand what you offer, etc.)
4. Provide expected outcomes - what is in it for the client? What results to you expect will occur? Don't give guarantees - in fact, don't promise or under promise - then deliver a WOW!
5. Explain the how - what methods or systems or reports or tools will you use to deliver your product or service? Explain clearly how you will deliver what you are providing.
6. State fees - with confidence state the fees and how those are paid.
7. Follow-up... what are the next steps to move this forward?
8. Persistence - some companies and/or individuals take bit of time to make decisions, how can you stay in contact providing more value, not asking for the business?
