Do you have any idea about the potential that lies within you? Do you know that you have the potential to achieve your dreams, but there is something that keeps you standing on the sidelines without making a move to get on to the playing field? What are you waiting for and what is holding you back? Perhaps you need the help of a coach, a business coach, and/or a strategic thinking business coach.

For this article, I am presuming you are open to coaching and therefore I am going to share some proven powerful ways you can get what you want faster and easier by working with a coach. If you want to unleash the power behind your dreams and get what you want, then take these eleven (11) actions with a coach.

1. Search for and select a coach to work with you. A key characteristic of a successful coaching relationship is the chemistry between the coach and individual. The relationship can be very personal and it is important there is a connection that works, as well as dual respect, understanding, and confidentiality. For more information, please go to: www.evancarmichael.com/Business-Coach/223/summary.php

2. Clearly define your personal and/or business vision. Write down what it is that you want to become or to achieve. Your coach will guide you in defining this vision by asking you many questions so you can gain focus for your vision.

3. Develop a list of major goals that will help you achieve your vision. Your coach will assist you in defining these big goals or milestones necessary to achieve your vision.

4. Break down the goals into specific tasks that are measurable, attainable, relevant and timely. Your coach will help you define the tasks and will also hold you accountable for completing the tasks within the timeline you establish for each task.

5. Adopt a positive and optimistic attitude. Positive energy attracts positive results. Your coach will be a powerful ally in helping you maintain a positive attitude.

6. Take action! Just start and be flexible to changes that occur. By just starting you are putting yourself ahead of the average individual. Use your coach as a motivator to get started.

7. Act with confidence and the power of believing you will succeed. Keep your vision in front of you every day and night. Act like your vision is becoming reality. Your coach will provide encouragement to reinforce your actions.

8. Keep your distance from negative people and the doubters. These people do not have visions and dreams and like to drag down those who do. Ignore them and listen to your own heart and your coach to stay positive. Your coach will be available to you when you encounter these people and will assist you as needed.

9. Develop a strong confidence and trust in yourself. Believe in yourself. When you have fears, face your fears and do not allow those fears to stop you from getting what you want. Your coach will be a very valuable asset to you in these times.

10. Seek advice of others. Your coach can help you find a group of other people who may have similar interests and dreams that you could consider meeting with to share ideas, challenges and opportunities.

11. Develop a very strong and effective network of key influencers. Use your coach to develop a list that will be most beneficial for you.

Re: Business Coaching Resources Re: Business Coaching Resources - You're fortunate when you can find a Business Coach who has experience beyond where you've been and even where you are going. When your budget is slim and even after, it's good to have a mentor. Several of various backgrounds are very useful. They can be teachers, professors, pastors, business people, family members, bosses and former bosses. You have to be clear on what you want and what you desire to achieve, be able to convey it as simply as possible. Stop and listen and don't over tax their time. You should always expect results whether from a Business Coach or Mentors. If you're not gtting results, you're either not focused or you need to upgrade the quality of your mentors/coaches. Always surround yourself by people smarter than you.
Re: Business Women Peer Mentoring Spotlight Re: Business Women Peer Mentoring Spotlight - Hi Tami, Have you reviewed other comparable sites and coaches? I think that you will find that they have positioned themselves a bit more 'out there', and they dont focus on cheap pricing as the key benefit. I think your copy needs to be much tighter with a focus on the key features and BENEFITS that group coaching provides. Look at The Strategic Coach model etc. Your bio needs to be stronger if you are going to be pitching business development and leadership development. Also, have you put together a strategy for list building and promotions? how many subscribers do you have currently. Local networking as well as grouping some of your existing clients into the first BETA group might help. People dont like 'NEW" services because it comes off that they will be the guinea pigs. Those are my initial thoughts for now. Hope it helps. I'll try and spend some more time reviewing over the weekend and get back to you! Jude
Re: What is Your Favorite Thing About Owning A Business? Re: What is Your Favorite Thing About Owning A Business? - [quote="freddyb45":1t3lpfi8]For me it's the fact that all the time and effort you put in is worth a lot more, due to it making you "business" more profitable. Working for yourself is also a positive, although employing people you can trust is quite different.[/quote:1t3lpfi8] I like this idea. Working for yourself means you are investing in your own future, not someone else's, although there is value in working for someone else first to gain experience and confidence. Working for yourself does not automatically mean success, fame and fortune. For most entrepreneurs, it takes much work and dedication to get to the point of financial success and comfort - sometimes years. But the benefit is, again, you know you are investing in yourself and building equity for your own future. GT :-]
Business Innovation Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.
