Look around you in today’s business world. It is no secret that it is becoming more difficult to recruit and retain skilled employees. In fact, one could say that select businesses and industries are desperate or becoming desperate to find people with the needed skills and attitudes.

An often ignored or neglected source of talent is the 45 to 65 year old age group. This group happens to be the largest demographic group in the US census. Estimates indicate that one of every two people in the United States will be 50 years old or older by the year 2020. Although these older workers are willing to stay in the workforce longer or even re-enter the workforce after they retire, most businesses still continue to cater to younger workers. Proof of this comes from a survey conducted by the Society of Human Resources Managers that shows 65% of companies surveyed exerted no effort to recruit older workers for open positions. The survey also showed that 81% of the companies did not have benefit plans designed with older workers in mind.

I think that you will find that they have positioned themselves a bit more 'out there', and they dont focus on cheap pricing as the key benefit. I think your copy needs to be much tighter with a focus on the key features and BENEFITS that group coaching provides. Look at The Strategic Coach model etc. Your bio needs to be stronger if you are going to be pitching business development and leadership development. Also, have you put together a strategy for list building and promotions? how many subscribers do you have currently. Local networking as well as grouping some of your existing clients into the first BETA group might help. People dont like 'NEW" services because it comes off that they will be the guinea pigs. Business Innovation Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.
