Ten Strategic Tips on How To Achieve High Visibility In Your Target Market From Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach

Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach strongly emphasizes the importance of achieving high visibility and establishing yourself and your business in your targeted networks. Gaining high visibility and a positive, trusted position will ultimately enable you to build quality relationships with more people in your niche markets and result in an increased number of prospects. The people who achieve this high visibility exhibit certain characteristics and behaviors. Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach offers five (5) DO's and five (5) DONT'S to make up the following ten (10) strategic tips on how to achieve high visibility in your target market.

THE FIVE DO’S:

Strategic Tip #1: DO commit to and act as a leader. Be proactive and seize the opportunity to step forward and lead.

Strategic Tip #2: DO commit to be and be a rapport builder. High visibility people develop rapport with almost every individual with whom they come in contact. Highly visible people are communication builders.

Strategic Tip #3: DO commit to and be a contributor. Give, not for the opportunity to get, but because you recognize that ultimately it will result in more opportunities to give.

Strategic Tip #4: DO commit to and be an idea generator. Highly visible people are seen as resources and people who can really help move a business, an organization and/or ideas forward.

Strategic Tip #5: DO commit to and become involved in the whole process. Highly visible people demonstrate their intentions with their actions. They “walk the talk.”

THE FIVE DON’TS

Strategic Tip #6: DON’T limit yourself to simply being a joiner. And don’t attend only a meeting or to with sole purpose to sell something.

Strategic Tip #7: DON’T be a “non-involved” member of an organization. Don’t stand in the background.

Strategic Tip #8: DON’T expect prospects to come to you without you reaching out to them. Don’t expect anything to happen if you don’t initiate contact.

Strategic Tip #9: DON’T limit yourself to meeting only a few people. Don’t limit your influence to a small group of prospects you actually meet.

Strategic Tip #10: DON’T limit yourself to producing only a few contacts per opportunity. Don’t exhibit a lack of energy or enthusiasm when faced with an opportunity to meet and interact with people in your target market.

Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach encourages you to commit to becoming highly visible in your target market as a strategic marketing initiative to grow your business. Re: How should i promote a new website? Re: How should i promote a new website? - ignore this message IF it's already been stated. I haven't had a chance to read all the replies and i have to jet from the office... I suggest marketing where ever your Target Market congregates. If it's a forum of concerned parents - go there. Strike up a deal with the forum owner (JV) and have him promote it to the list of members (Integration Marketing). If you want to go with Forums then i would partner with a parent who is a frequent poster/moderator on a particular Target Market Forum and have him/her add your link to their signature. That was just a thought but it's not as intense once you get buy in from the Forum owner or high ranked poster/moderator. Hope that sparks some new ideas.
Re: Business Women Peer Mentoring Spotlight Re: Business Women Peer Mentoring Spotlight - Hi Tami, Have you reviewed other comparable sites and coaches? I think that you will find that they have positioned themselves a bit more 'out there', and they dont focus on cheap pricing as the key benefit. I think your copy needs to be much tighter with a focus on the key features and BENEFITS that group coaching provides. Look at The Strategic Coach model etc. Your bio needs to be stronger if you are going to be pitching business development and leadership development. Also, have you put together a strategy for list building and promotions? how many subscribers do you have currently. Local networking as well as grouping some of your existing clients into the first BETA group might help. People dont like 'NEW" services because it comes off that they will be the guinea pigs. Those are my initial thoughts for now. Hope it helps. I'll try and spend some more time reviewing over the weekend and get back to you! Jude
Business Innovation Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.
