How to Use Your Natural Potential to Drive Your Business

Have you ever wondered at the business owner / entrepreneur who seems to have the ‘knack’ of smoothly buying, building and selling businesses and / or simply running their own successful business, with very little apparent stress? Studies have shown that these types of people do not necessarily have ‘genetic superiority’ over 99% of other business owners. They do, however, exhibit a certain pattern of mental conditioning. Bearing that in mind, here’s three suggestions for tapping into your natural genius and dramatically improving your business results:

Hire in your weakness. When you start a business you can only take it to a certain level. At some point you will need to ‘hire in your weakness’. This may be in the form of additional team members or, to accelerate your growth, a business coach. You may notice that you have reached a ‘revenue plateau,’ you don’t feel you can accomplish any more during a week or you may feel that you simply don’t know enough to take the business any further. Is it time for you to take the next step? Bring in fresh thoughts, ideas, insights and strategies? A coach (or business growth specialist) at this point can give you the direction and structure you need prior to further recruiting the people who have a passion for doing the things you hate to do. It can also save you an immense amount of time and money on the costly mistakes of running your business by trial and error. You will function in the areas where you do your best work. Let’s face it – if you’re stuck on a computer in an office doing business ‘stuff’ when you love the thrill of face to face selling of your business you are not necessarily fulfilling your core desires! (or taking your business any further forward for that matter). Consider this: If you’re doing that right now then just how much longer do you want to continue to do that for?

Empower Your Team. If your team don’t believe in themselves or their capacities to accomplish what the day sets in front of them, then they’ll spend the day avoiding the challenging things instead of accomplishing important things. Empower your team by letting them know you believe in them. This comes down to leadership. Let them realise your business vision with you, help them to grow and continually learn new things. Only through empowerment can they believe they will accomplish their most difficult, highest priority, highest value tasks.

Decide How Your Day Will Go and How Your Business will Grow. When I first work with business owners, some find it hard to accept that they are completely responsible for how they perceive what happens to them during their day! We can start the day feeling negative and that it’s going to be ‘bad’ – before it’s even happened! Why would we want to do that, when we can expect every day to be ‘outstanding’?. So here’s the tip: When you first wake up in the morning, whilst you’re not fully awake but not asleep or dreaming, take ten minutes to decide how your day will go. See yourself completing certain items that you know you have to get done. Visualise what you have accomplished, felt and seen by the end of the day – make it an exceptional day. Get in touch with your inner guidance system. You may find that you will be amazed at the results.

To Your Success,

Mike Yates

Re: Picking an external hard drive to backup my files Re: Picking an external hard drive to backup my files - So I ended up buying a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini 250GB External Hard Drive from TigerDirect.ca for $97.99. While I wasn't able to get the pre-installed software to work on my computer for whatever reason... I was still able to transfer all 14 GB of my personal files via the old fashioned "copy" and "paste" method. Hopefully this won't compromise the safety of my stored data.
Re: Why Your Business' Website Is Not Making You Money Re: Why Your Business' Website Is Not Making You Money - Hi Jackie, As GT has said, word of mouth has a place on the Internet but is usually more associated in a local sense. I have seen some fantastic websites that don’t get traffic and very poor sites that get lots of traffic but no sales. The trick is to find a niche or a product where there is a demand. Design a relevant website full of interesting and updated content. Drive as much traffic by whatever means that you can. If you can bring these three elements together then you are far more likely to make a success of your Internet business. regards, Mal.
Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company - [quote="zohahunt77":428owzbi]Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between B2B and B2C. I don’t know about b2b marketing but I have done marketing so know things about it. I will suggest you to take online services which will spread your business all over web network. Online marketing is the best way to market any business.[/quote:428owzbi] B2B = Business to Business - You are marketing to other businesses. B2C = Business to Consumer - You are marketing to consumers.
