Fast ways to Increase sales and thus Profits

Ialways go by the Credo that " you have everything to gain and nothing to lose". Pick up that telephone right now and call the President or Head of Sales and give them reasons (value statements of interest to them and there company) to meet with you right now. Don't talk about yourself but talk about how your product or service will help them with increasing there sales or increasing there brand identity.
The worst thing that can occur is they will say No..... So what try again in a month. Try again every month until you land the account.
Be different, do things to get noticed.Don't be fake, be yourself and provide value to your potential customer.
Now go get 'em.

Business magazines - Fast Company is pretty good if you're into technology although it can be very on the edge. Entrepreneur has become one giant advertisement and I cancelled my subscription. Selling Power also has some useful content if you're looking at improving your sales skills / presentations.
How do you get your clients? - Different people have different ways of getting clients for their business as thats what will determine the success of such venture Some get websites for their business to get clients online. Others do media marketing, use sales personels to go out and canvass. Community projects, promotions, expos, competitions etc are other ways to go... What do you think are the best options to get clients to your busines and make them stay loyal?
Re: Joomla Now Has A GetResponse Module - Hi Kevin, Interesting that you tried Joomla and then gave up on it. So did I! There is a lot to be said for Joomla. It can make your site look very professional, you can completely change design in just a few clicks of your mouse, and if you add anything to a panel you can display it throughout your site... Also, Joomla does seem to suck in traffic. My traffic stats improved with Joomla, probably because of the interactive features it offers, such as the article directory feature and so on. However, I also experienced various frustrations with Joomla. HTML is simpler and you have complete control over your site, but you do have to recode every page when you make design changes... (unless you are prepared to learn CSS and then deal with all the browser problems...) Also, I market the Plug-In Profits Site and came to the conclusion that it would be better business practice to show my potential customers what can be done with a Plug-In Profits site by using one myself and modifying it to suit my purposes. After all, there is no better advertisement for a product than the fact that the seller also uses it! On the other hand, I know a lot of Internet marketers who love Joomla, so I think it is just a matter of choosing what works best for you. ... And if you like Joomla and use the GetResponse autoresponder service, life just got easier for you! David H

I agree with you that many of the recommendations can equally be applied to affiliate marketers although at first glance it would be easy to dismiss them as only relating to direct office contact with sales staff. In this hi-tech world that we live in it is just as easy to support, coach, motivate and evaluate results with our downline or team by using modern media gadgets as if we were all in the same room. regards, Mal.
