Accessories - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Men and women around the world are slaves to fashion.

Many women are focused on the "new in fashion look." Some of this year's clothing has

several patterns in one outfit. Even the upscale clothing stores are featuring gladiator

shoes and huge handbags with lots of glitz and hardware.

The gladiator shoes do not compliment any of the outfits I have seen in the stores and

most of the "in fashion" handbags are far too large for the women carrying them.

Many of the men's casual shirts are now designed with a contrasting/patterned inner cuff

and inside collar. What a desperate move on the part of fashion designers. This is not the

best way to spend your dollars.

Men don't usually fall for the in fashion look however, some of the younger men may as they

are still looking for their best self. "Is this me or is this me?"

Accessories can make a classic outfit - outstanding. The challenge this year has been to

find classic, timeless clothing and accessories to wear to work.

Fashion cycles go around every seven to ten years and I've been in the Image Improvement

business for several decades - long enough to see things come back again.Metallic and leopard prints

are back again in shoes. I remember having a beautiful piece of

fabric made in to an outfit while I was in Hong Kong and then realizing that I did not have

any shoes to go with the outfit. I shopped and shopped and finally splurged on a pair of metallic

shoes. I was pleasantly surprised to find the soft bronze metallic, classic pump shoe went with

many of my outfits.

Metallic shoes and handbags are best used on the weekend and in the evening as they are

not suitable for the corporate look.

Handbags bags are huge this year and far too large for many of the women that are carrying

them. These handbags also come with a very large price tag. They are in this year perhaps

and definitely out next year.

Think timeless, classic and value. A few wonderful items ideally suited to your work, lifestyle,

body type and desired outcome will make your best investments.

By fewer items of higher quality and look outstanding, classic, timeless and prosperous.

Re: Hit or Miss: Dancejam Re: Hit or Miss: Dancejam - There certainly are a lot of these video exchange sites out there. There's another one I found out about just two weeks ago - probably because they paid big bucks to be on the TV show NCIS. Called...okay, I'm having a senior moment.... I Can Beat That .com or something similar. Rather than videos, people upload t heir best photos for Best Ugly Face, Best Air Guitar photo, and so on. I looked at it just to see if the NCIS guys were actually on it, and they are... but never bothered to go back as its not something that interests me...

Using youtube disadvantages? Using youtube disadvantages? - Youtube embedded players play instantly. Good. However, if you use a youtube embedded player on your business website and click it twice, it takes you away from your site and on to youtube's where a prospective buyer can wander endlessly and perhaps never return. Good or bad? Does anyone know how to alter the html so that it plays only and doesn't link to youtube?
