Master Your Game: Taking Aim Pays Off

Written by: Jacque Small

Article Overview: What if you hired a personal golf coach and started going to the driving range regularly to hone your swing? Your goal will be to consistently hit the green in regulation to lower your handicap. With sufficient practice, and by taking consistent action toward this goal, I bet you will accelerate your learning in perfecting your game. It works in golf, you say, but will hiring a coach help me in other aspects of my game?

Master Your Game: Taking Aim Pays Off

Success Story

When Ceci Miller came to the coaching relationship with me she said she wanted to “have clear systems” in her business to:
streamline operations
expand income
delegate to a team of top-notch professionals who shared her values.
In one year of executive coaching sessions, Ceci has done all of the above and more: she has tripled her income, increased her business operation 11-fold and is creating amazing success for her clients.

She started the coaching relationship as a solo entrepreneur. At that time, her editorial and publishing consultation company, CeciBooks.com, had been in business for five years. Together, we determined her greatest talents and defined what she loved to do best. We then designed her ideal organization and team. Ceci then built a team of passionate people who share her commitment to uncompromising quality and who aim to create a published product that is just right for the message being delivered by CeciBooks’ clients. Each person on Ceci’s new team is now fulfilling this mission admirably and experiencing the success and joy in doing it.

In my years of coaching, I have observed that passion for the work has an inverse relationship with stress levels, and Ceci has once again proven this. Ceci’s biggest concern about growing her business was that it would be so much more stressful. In fact, she experienced the opposite. “I have so much less stress now than I had one year ago,” she said.

Ceci’s great results came from working with me to develop a well-defined plan for both the business and herself. Not only has she attracted ideal team members to serve her author clients, but also ideal clients whose books are receiving enthusiastic reviews.

You too can experience this kind of success. The journey starts with my T ake Aim Coaching Program. In this program, my clients align their swing with the target they would like to hit. We then custom-design a program that will empower them to take consistent action toward that goal. Once they succeed in developing consistency in their action, as Ceci did, they move on to the Stay the Course Coaching Program, where they gain a consistent source of support to remain focused on their targets.

One final note: Ceci’s return on investment (ROI) in coaching over the past year? A whopping 25 times what she paid out. How many of us can say that about our other investments?

Supporting your brilliance,

Jacque

Re: New Video - Should I Get A Job Or Start A Business? Re: New Video - Should I Get A Job Or Start A Business? - Hi Evan, I was curious to know what you'd suggest and I think you gave excellent advice. Taking a year out to try and start your own business is a great idea. Taking a year out after college is a well established option so I guess it doesn't prejudice your chances of getting a job should you wish to do so later on; it probably improves your chances if you've been getting valuable experience of managing a business and of course, if all goes well, you won't need to find out. Definitely a video for my website. Thanks! David

Re: I will be away Re: I will be away - Hi Guys Thanks for the good wishes. I had a really relaxing time and as soon as I get caught up will upload some pictures of the Big Game we saw on some of the drives. No lion GT as these parks are privately owned and they don't want predators who will eat the herbivores that they have paid a lot of money for . Saw some elephant though and rhino which was great.
