Aspirations (Dream To Fruition)
I have spent over twenty-seven years methodically evaluating my past-life, combing through tons of debris, hunting for gems of wisdom scattered about. In that search I have unearthed a fortune in jewels. My current studies indicate that this precious enlightenment is imbedded in wisdom throughout the ages, around the world. Although savants have been expounding truth for thousands of years, most of us still tend to find it painfully through trial and error.
Despite the fact that I believe all roads eventually will lead one to their greatness, I equally believe that wisdom from others, travelers on common roads before us, can easily decrease our adversity. Through my own expedition, I have discovered similar truths shared by history’s sages. I am equally certain that the understanding of these great philosophies would have tremendously eased my difficulties. With this in mind, I would like to share with you an important lesson which has changed my life and led me to much happiness.
Throughout my life I seem to have squandered large blocks of time gazing into space dreaming how my world might be different. I spent endless hours musing on multitudinous adventures, which would temporarily arrest my grief, only to return me to my original ordeal. Since a young child I have been distinguished with the nickname “Daydreamer.” I was condemned for this apparent flaw in my character and was constantly punished in hopes of bringing me around. Eventually I began judging myself by similar protocol.
I have come to see that daydreaming is a personality trait of mine. I have found a place and a time for it and it has become a valuable tool in helping people realize their potential. Today I see facets of my character and not defects in God’s handiwork. I know that one must evaluate all of life without judgment including one’s own life. One’s past is no more than a series of lessons and once the lessons are cultured the future is open for unlimited opportunity.
Although I am sure that I have missed many an opportunity in my lifetime, I know the best opportunities lie before me. I know that I was created as a complete being. I come with all the essential components to achieve my ultimate potential. I know that the Universe wants me to fulfill my heart’s desire therefore I can count on my needs to be delivered.
I begin with clear, precise and distinct goals of both long and short duration. I support those goals with well designed, dynamic plans. I release my aspirations within my discipline framework and with unshakable trust, I plunge into my potential.
After decades of varying life experiences, I have discovered first hand what separates wanderers from achievers. While wanderers only dream, champions always aspire. Aspirations are superior to dreams in that they embody intention and intention incites greatness. One must prioritize one’s dreams in order to discard those that are not one’s heart desire. Once one has isolated one’s heart’s desire, passion will emanate, infusing intention and formulating potential. Once potential is instated, momentum develops, efficiency ensues and greatness transpires.
As a life coach I am fortunate to be able to help people pull their collection of dreams out of mothballs, isolate them, build them into goals, formulate plans and watch aspirations consume former skeptics. Once we are en route to our inherent, spiritual self we awaken to our magnanimity. And as always remember…
