Balance
Is your life in balanced?
Are you happy in your job? Is your body in proper condition? Is your health
in order? Do you have the kind of relationships with people that others
admire? Are you revered by your pears? Why not? Thank God we don’t have
to be perfect. Perfect is a model, a goal but it is only achievable in God’s eyes and not the eyes of others. Balance is what allows us to sleep well at night and look admiringly at our own life. There is enough in the world to feel powerless over without believing that we are powerless over our own lives. Most of what creates our personal turmoil is being out of balance. Our lives only move forward smoothly if we stay in harmony with our inner-self.
We may realize and respond to personal challenges in an attempt to recreate
our former state of consciousness or balance, but this is where our dilemma
can be found. When we find ourselves out of balance it is normally created
by the universe moving and changing and us trying to fight the change
holding our ground. We must change with the universe or it is like us holding
on to a rubber band behind a moving vehicle. It is only a matter of time
when we are going to come into contact with the tow vehicle and the longer
we resist the more aggressive will be the impact.
Balance is what keeps the stars in place, the planets in their orbit, the sun shining and life to exist. Why we continually fight change and stay off
balance is answered by understanding our Ego and it’s never ending struggle with our soul. The soul is the birthplace of inspiration and intuition and meditation is a way to stay balanced by disengaging us from Ego. The battle that keeps us all buried in stress is an inner struggle not an outer struggle. All reality is merely manifestation of inner conditions. Happy people create happy lives and not the opposite. The tail does not actually wag the dog unless we fail to stay focused on our present set of circumstances.
Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity was to keep doing the same thing expecting different results. We must live life, learn lessons and keep our mind, body and spirit balance. Life is not all or nothing; it is all and nothing. The universe is positive and negative, up and down, left and right, good and bad and all and nothing. Stay balanced and remember…
