A great life needs a great plan!
The Universe not only wants you to have you’re hearts desire but insists on it.
Napoleon Hill proclaims, "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve." In fact whatever thoughts you put energy behind becomes your life whether they are positive or not. Don’t be quick to blame your or other’s success on luck! Luck is created through energized thoughts, plans and action.
Thought meanders through our mind at whatever pace our personality dictates.
On occasion a thought comes through with special powers. These special powers transform the thought into a wish. As we entertain a wish it metamorphosis’s into a dream. A dream burns itself into our consciousness with a specific design necessary to fulfill the dream. This design must vacate the mind to become three dimensional which is what goals and plans are for. Stimulating this plan with action empowers us to follow our rainbow to our pot of gold.
This process befalls everyone in exactly the same manner yet each vision is specific to each and every one of us. Everyone has a wish and a dream matched individually to their nature and personality. Although this adventure certainly requires the cooperation of others we must be careful not to follow the blueprint of others as they will distract us from our needed focus. We must learn to accept loving non-judgmental guidance while watching for any form of control.
Our vision or singular direction can only be found deep within us and often can only be found under the supervision of those that have marched before us and embrace the secret path. This is why we are drawn to certain people and philosophies. When we are drawn to these people we must attach ourselves to them and internalize their philosophy into action.
Zen philosophy declares, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” In my own life I am constantly seeking guidance through meditation, the help of my personal life coach and wise and outspoken leaders in the field of my profession. I do this in an attempt to clarify my inner message. The more I practice self-discipline and hold a place for intuitive thought the clearer my direction becomes. By following my inner direction, which I find through meditation, I am continually amazed by the clarity in the plans I receive necessary in achieving my goals. Remember…

- Excellent quote, Evan. This reminds me of the saying, "The early bird catches the worm."
It's important to act on impulses, rather than hesitate and plan. Planning isn't a bad thing and is warranted in certain cases, but those who act quickly will get a step ahead of the competition.

- Nice list, and I agree with everything you all have added!
Planning is the biggest one of all! Look at everything from every aspect possible, and then ask others to look at it as well. It's extremely important that you consider everything before jumping into things, and it goes so much smoother!
Also, some young entrepreneurs tend to have an unrealistic mindset (I can sell 4000 of this product in my first week!). Make sure you know what you're getting into, and don't expect something that won't ever happen.
