Tenacity
Trust in action

Webster’s New World Dictionary defines tenacity as holding firmly, retentive, adhesive/cohesive and persistent. Tenacity is a seldom seen occurrence in today’s society. We are all into quick fixes, whereas success is a long and strenuous commitment. Most of us are defeated along the way by what we see as failure. Finding success is being clear in our goals and staying tenacious with our action driven plans, no matter what happens. It is important to know that setbacks are necessary in clarifying our goals.

Why do some people have tenacity, while most people don’t? The answer is simple, “What we believe, we become.” If we doubt ourselves, do not set goals and meander through life aimlessly, we are guaranteed a listless life. On the other hand, if we believe in or trust our goals, the plans we have constructed in order to achieve those goals and our actions are in accordance with those goals, The Universes is dutiful in granting us our heart’s desire.

What we believe or trust in is the developing factor to the trust necessary in staying tenacious toward achieving our goals. Do we trust in a system, a person, an establishment or an entity? The stability of the foundation from which we build our trust is in direct correlation to the durability and longevity of our trust. The greater our trust, the greater also will be our accomplishments. So what do we trust in to achiever our objectives?

We can apply our trust in many things but the bedrock of our trust must be in ourselves through our esteem. We are the only fixed and controllable symbol in the formula to our success, therefore our esteem is paramount. We must each achieve a level of self-love and self-respect that is unshakable. It is this need for resolution that defies us all to look both far away and deep within ourselves in order to find our individual truth and authentic being. The better we understand our authenticity, the less competition we have. A better understanding of self brings us in contact with our self and our oneness with The Universe. This relationship holds the secrets to our ultimate potential, which, when acted upon, guarantees our ultimate success.

As a life coach I have found my required focus to be in the form of helping one to achieve a maximum degree of personal esteem. We must accept ourselves as perfect as we are. Perfection cannot be fathomed through the veil of negative self condemnation, which most of us are programmed to respond to. We often need help in achieving our awareness and this help takes many shapes. Conventional psychology is a step in the right direction as it helps one to get one’s ducks in a row. The problem is that one’s personal success can only be found if they are the lead duck. This is why I chose to become a life coach following metaphysical or quantum psychology. One must not only associate themselves with their environment but also must associate themselves with their authenticity or their inception and conception of self.

In metaphysics we learn that our outside environment is actually a manifestation of our inner understanding as in Zen, “We don’t see the world as it is; we see it as we are!” Allowing outside circumstances to guide us in our lives is what I call the tail wagging the dog. Most people allow outside circumstances to guide them instead of them developing outside circumstances to meet their needs. This like all Metaphysical Truth is about balance and when one acquires balance in their environment they gain power over their lives.

Learning to trust ourselves is a tall order. We must first unlearn years of limitations we have acquired from our parents, so called authorities, our learning environment and our living environment or society. We hold ideas and thoughts that have been created by our unmerited trust in people and their opinions. These people may have loved us and forced their opinions on us ‘for our own good,’ or we accepted their opinions due to some form of loyalty. Oftentimes opinions are offered to us with such passion that we accepted it as truth although further examination often proves the advice to be wrong for us. Other’s opinion of truth may be only their personal truth and may be contrary to what we need. We must evaluate all the information we receive as correspondent to our circumstances.

Success comes down to this; we must stay tenacious to our self and let our intuition decide our truth, our life and our destiny. Remember…

Your Life is PERFECT!
