We the People!
The buck starts here.
With the elections coming in a few weeks I have given much thought to why the world is in the space it is. I, unlike most people, believe that we are in the greatest times in our human existence. The opportunities we have, although not at all similar to the opportunities of the past, are plentiful and open to all of mankind at a larger degree than ever before. This overall condition, in spite of the fact that it is overshadowed by difficulty, is equally available at all levels including our individual personal lives.
This country is the greatest country in the world. The fact that people are risking their lives in order to take advantage of this incomparable freedom and people willing to risk their lives in order to destroy it, is enough proof for my argument. The reason this country's dynamics are procured through consequence of the first three words in our Constitution, “WE THE PEOPLE.” Whether we choose to deny or allow is the responsibility of each and every person in this country. Every citizen of this country has equal opportunity, although their individual status may vary.
When I went back to school at age thirty eight I applied for financial aid and it was quickly denied as I had fabricated several years of mediocre financial success and did not qualify for such aid. With the help of my wife, who had a successful career at the time, I went to college and paid as I went. I am similarly paying for my masters and doctorate degree. I find all walks of life along the path of my journey. I walk with ever class of people all with the same passion that founded this great country. It is this passion for financial, physical and spiritual success that both created this great country and will sustain it.
The problems we seem to have both at national, state, local and individual levels are merely a byproduct of adjustment. As a metaphysician I know that as water seeks its own level it is equally true that we cannot sustain negative qualities such as greed and fear in our life choices. Greed and fear are mere illusions and are not supportable in a loving creation. It should be easy to see that all life adjustments are natural and important to the true success of mankind. We must constantly take responsibility for our success at all levels and adjust our goals and dreams to incorporate the needs of all mankind if we want our way of life to remain monumental.
This country’s recent financial difficulty models our “living beyond our means” mentality. This along with putting all risk in the laps of others constitutes a lack of responsibility. We must all learn to be one hundred percent responsible if we are to meet or exceed our ultimate potential. I cannot put my life’s risk in the hands of others unless I am willing to forfeit the ransom. I for one am not willing to jeopardize my success by denouncing my responsibility. It is the forfeiture of responsibility that places our future in peril. We must learn to live within our means along with planning to include only short term liability. We must all acquire a willingness to lose in order to compete.
Success is a gathering of heroes. It is the champion who takes risk without abandoning virtue. It is the paladin that accepts responsibility for mistakes, while conferring applause to the team. It is the victor that regards integrity above all else. It is the warrior that rewards happiness before financial gain. It is the combatant that trusts the relevancy of the Universe and not haphazard randomness. Through a belief in the Universe and its infinite plan for good I for one have learned to stay true to my morality. Fear, worry and doubt eventually erode any success we achieve and each success is vital in building a stairway to heaven. It is also important to always remember…
