In this session, we are going to talk about applying the seventh principle in our lives. In my business coaching we have seven principles that can change companies life to connect with their employee’s.
My coaching sessions offer many different ways to connect and have a strong bond with your employees and have positive results in their life. I feel that all the articles feed off of one another; I believe that they all will benefit a business owner in a positive way. If you apply the principles in your life they will change your business destiny forever.
Without further adieu, the seventh principal: “Have an attitude of gratitude” -What does that mean?:
How many business owners complain about their employees? Not making the sale, not coming to work on time, leaving early and not punching out, not dressing appropriately, doing just enough work not to get fired… the list goes on. Some small businesses complain about not having enough sales, not making enough money, not having enough people to hire and etc…
After working with so many businesses, I have taught business owners to have an attitude of gratitude meaning: be thankful that your employee is alive. Be grateful that he/she is going to work, making phone calls for your business, putting in some effort, and etc.
If we always look for what’s wrong in our employees’ lives, that is what we will find. Whatever you focus on, that is what you will get. So, business owners, it’s time to change your focus, and be grateful for the hardworking employees that you have. Now it’s your turn…. Make a list of ten things that you can be grateful for about your employee or about your business. In order to make a change we must do the work, don’t put off for tomorrow, and make a list NOW!

Business owners please read this list every day and just before going to bed. We need to change our focus so we can change the results in our employees’ lives.
