I am honored to be a business coach for over 10 years, working with different companies, small business, mid size, and fortune 500 companies. The most common denominator I have found with countless sessions with business owners and employees is the power of influence.
Who has the most influence on your employees? Business owners, this is a very important question! Do your employees get the most influence from co-workers, teachers, friends, peer pressure, next door neighbors, church, parents, or is it YOU?!
This is a very important question to ask: Because, business owners, if you don’t have an influence over your employees in a positive way… someone else will. That is why gaining rapport with your employees is so important…. It’s a MUST!
If you cannot influence your employee, the trouble-making employee would love to do the job for you. How can you gain back that trust- influence with your employee?
I have seen too many cases in my career that indicate that the business owners didn’t have a bond/connection with their employee. This will cause low morale, along with a high rate of turnover. I have seen so many cases where the employee was put in a position of no return.
Business owners: it’s a MUST to influence your employee! It’s necessary to take the Building A Strong Rapport with Your Employees seriously. What is peer pressure? Why do you believe your employee is involved in peer pressure? Maybe because someone has more influence than someone else does, maybe your employee wants to feel connected.
Do your employees listen to personal development tapes? What influence do your employees music have on their behavior? Remember the session on Building A Strong Rapport with Your Employees, and how we can connect with anyone through using words, tempo, tonality, and physiology.
My belief is that the music your employee listens to on a regular basis can shape their destiny. That is why it is so important to listen to personal development tapes or something inspirational on a daily basis. We need to find ways to influence our employee’s, gain rapport with them, and gain back the trust with our employee.
