What is a Business Coach

A business coach is someone who can produce outstanding results in the lives of people. The only challenge is that so many people are calling themselves business coaches. Some of these people are not producing positive results. Please read these guidelines before hiring your next business coach: What are the duties of a business coach? How can a business coach increase my business? What should I expect from a business coach? Who needs a business coach? What is the fee for a business coach? Do you have to attend a coaching school to be an effective coach? What about online coaching?

1. What are the duties of a business coach? : A business coach is someone with an expertise in certain areas such as staff development, marketing, and implementing seminars/workshops. A business coach is a counselor, sometimes a mentor that produces magnificent results in a business.

2. How can a business coach increase my business?: It depends on the business; some companies that I work with might have to focus on the marketing, or providing sales training, or work on a time management system, GAPS, to produce results in their business.

3. What should I expect from a business coach? : If you hire the right business coach, they should be able tell you how much your business will increase. It could be anywhere from 10-25%. They also need to walk their talk and give a 100% money back guarantee.

4. Who needs a business coach? : Anyone who would like to increase their business, anyone who would like a better life. Anyone who would like to leave a legacy for their family.

5. How much is a business coach? : It depends on his or her expertise. Some coaches charge $150.00 to $250.00 per session. Some coaches have a package price per year program. Executive Business coaches charge around $400.00 plus per session and sometimes a back end percentage for the increase of sales from 8% to 25% annually.

6. Do you have to attend a coaching school to be a good business coach? : Not really; although some people preach about how coaches need to be certified in order to become a coach. I can respect that option. I would rather see a money- back guarantee, and how much a person can increase my business then someone going to a fancy coaching program.
7. Online coaching: This is one of the best methods of coaching. Most online coaching will give you a game plan and something to accomplish on a weekly or ten day basis. This coaching is great for people that live out of town or in another country. This coaching process work just as well as face to face coaching does. The online coaching usually runs for 30 to 60 minutes. It’s more of a specific way to get results. The best way to produce results with online coaching is to sign up for a 90 day or three month coaching session until you get the results you must create in your business or personal life.

Re: Business Coaching Resources Re: Business Coaching Resources - You're fortunate when you can find a Business Coach who has experience beyond where you've been and even where you are going. When your budget is slim and even after, it's good to have a mentor. Several of various backgrounds are very useful. They can be teachers, professors, pastors, business people, family members, bosses and former bosses. You have to be clear on what you want and what you desire to achieve, be able to convey it as simply as possible. Stop and listen and don't over tax their time. You should always expect results whether from a Business Coach or Mentors. If you're not gtting results, you're either not focused or you need to upgrade the quality of your mentors/coaches. Always surround yourself by people smarter than you.

Greetings From Destiny's Door Greetings From Destiny's Door - Hi Everyone, Thanks for the invitation to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to being part of the discussions here. I called my business "Destiny’s Door Coaching" because I believe you already have everything it takes to create the business of your dreams. The door to your destiny stands always open. The choice is up to you. I work with Business Women and Entrepreneurs who want to create a life and business that matches their true potential, while still allowing them time to do the things they love most. I support them as they discover how to work smarter and not harder. I coach because I am passionate about seeing women achieve amazing things when they fully accept their own greatness. Business really gives women a great opportunity to express their passions and purpose in a way that also brings financial rewards. I believe you are highly important as the foundation of your business. As you grow and unleash your true potential, you enable your business to do the same. In fact, I'm doing that personally through my own business. I coach women and write articles inviting women to step into greater personal success. As a Certified Life Coach with a Degree in ministry, this is a perfect fit for me. On a personal level, I believe in living fully alive and making the most of every moment. I even have my own Coach! Of course, life is always a work in progress, but I keep moving forward. I do this happily in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of B.C. with my husband and two feline companions. Anyhow, I look forward to meeting you through the forum where we can challenge and inspire each other to really grow towards our full potential. Let’s really commit to creating the businesses of our dreams. I’ll meet you at Destiny’s Door! Warmly, Tami
Business Coaching Internship Review Business Coaching Internship Review - I joined in during the first phase of the internship and at this point we are committed to doing research and development of RSC Business Group operating in Toronto. RSC Business Group already has products and services in Coaching Small businesses in Los Angeles but we didn't want to assume that the same products were wanted and needed in the Toronto market. Our goal at this point is to commit to interviewing 1000 business owners to capture this data. Through the teleconference internship I've been involved in we've been focusing on Communication Skills and on active listening which are practiced when we conduct our interviews and Coach our clients when they come on board. This is a lot harder than it sounds! Part of the internship is also creating the Toronto RSC Business Group's departments, job descriptions, Marketing and Communication plans etc that a business owner would create for their own company. This trains us in the way we would coach a company as well. The internship is phased in two parts and there is compensation plan involved as well for the clients you personally bring in. These clients are coached directly by Robert Chun as you begin but you are given a chance to learn his techniques. I haven't gone through this experience yet though. It's hard to explain Robert Chun's method of Coaching as it happens at a psychological level in his ability to listen and question the person being coached into the next steps they need to take. The Teleconferences are 2 hours long but it's very interactive. If you have a desire to explore this area of Business I'd recommend contacting Vwodek listed above and get invited to a Coaching Conference call. You can decided then if it's for you. Note: it is a commitment but the skills you walk away with whether you plan on working with RSC Business Group or not is invaluable.
