Introduction To Entrepreneurship
Introduction To Entrepreneurship
• First things first! Maintain balance in your life where possible! Keep your rest up! Take care of your health! Refrain from having an ‘all or nothing attitude’ about anything!
"You bring about what you think about & focus on!"
• Be in the ‘now’! Devise a plan (include phone time, when you do appts, coaching, personal development/training & of course schedule ‘home’ things too!)!
DON’T DEVIATE FROM YOUR PLAN (especially in the beginning!)!
Remember it takes ’21 days to form a habit (good or bad)’, so stick with it so your plan has a chance to ‘take shape & become natural’ to you, & subsequently ‘pay off’ for you too!!
Staying focused ‘in the now’ allows the best of you to shine through at any given moment!
"Definition of Insanity: Doing the same things over & over again; but expecting different results!"
• When you ‘Devise Your Plan’ for your business (what income you need or want, what hours you are going to work, etc.), treat it as if you were working for someone else, at least initially!
If the answer to an employer would be ‘yes’; then, make the answer to yourself ‘yes’! Your job is a real job, with real money, and real benefits ~ & there’s next no limits except those we impose on ourselves!
If you have appts/business that cancels, you have the power & the choice to ‘work anyway’ and ‘replace’ that business. It is the only way you stay in the ‘driver’s seat’ of your business!
Seek the knowledge you require! Consistently ask questions to gain new insights!
• Keep yourself Motivated! Take courses and coaching to empower and mentor you to the success you desire and deserve. Read or listen to books on tape, on self-development! Be a student of life! Talk to positive people! Own Your Success!
PRACTICE POSITIVE SELF-TALK – There’s nothing more harmful and contradicting to achieving your goals and having a successful life in general; then when you say one thing out loud or on paper. & say another thing to yourself!!
Try reciting Positive Affirmations daily! Remember, it takes 21 days to form a habit!!
"Life is a self-fulfilling prophesy!"
• Have the 'courage' to do what you need to do!
When you balance your needs with others (personally or professionally), you don’t get as tired or frustrated; and as a result too, you have more to give!
It’s not a matter of learning ‘but practicing’ to say NO when you need to!
One, if it is family members, you help them to be stronger and depend on themselves; and two, you teach them how to see your business!!
"You can have it all, just not all at once!!"
When you know you need to say no, but you’re struggling because both options are important to you, try saying ‘yes’ with some parameters.
Do you have a ‘Work Schedule’? Do your friends and family know it?
I realize that we do have a lot flexibility working for ourselves, but sometimes we can take far too many liberties (which we would never get away with ‘working for someone else’).
If you want others support, don’t complain about things that don’t seem to be going well (especially to your friends and family, who often can’t help you anyway)!
Talk to someone who will give you the encouragement and/or guidance you need, to get you back to thinking & feeling the way you need to, & deserve to!
Above all, bloom where you’re planted, and believe in yourself and the beauty of your dreams! You’re Worthy!!
