Who Are You Becoming?

Have you taken the time to think about who you will be in the next year or the next 5 years? Not necessarily what you will be doing, where you will be or what you would have. What type of person will you be? I read a quote the other day that said "The most important question to ask on the job is not 'what am I getting?' The most important question to ask is 'What am I becoming?'" I know many entrepreneurs who had wonderful ideas and dreams of doing something more with their life and lost their desire along the way. Just being able to make a living can very easily take the place of creating a successful life for yourself and your family.

Some people have a tendency to let their jobs turn them into a different person. They lose the drive to strive for what they really want in life. They no longer believe that it's possible to go after their dreams. It is certainly commendable to be able to make a living and provide for your family. However, for those of you who want to do more with your life, I want you to know that it is possible! Working to pursue your dreams and goals may not be easy, however please realize that you are strong enough to do it! You have strength inside of you that you haven't even tapped into yet! It's there, waiting to be used! What do you value? What do believe? What do you love to do? What can you teach others? Please be careful not to lose sight of the person you are and the person you wish to become. Never give up on your dreams!

Think about who you are and who you are becoming? Do you have a plan of action to accomplish your dreams and goals? Many entrepreneurs achieved their desired level of success while working a "day job"....You can too! Please make sure to take a specific amount of time everyday to work toward your success.

"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours." -- Henry David Thoreau

"Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be." -- George Sheehan
