Communicating Your Message - Your Info-mercial

Fear of making a fool of oneself. Many people fear public speaking because they are afraid of making a fool of themselves. This is also irrational, but a possibility they truly fear. This often comes from a lack of self confidence, or from not knowing what to say, or how to say it. They may also fear that their voice will crack, that their appearance my not be up to par, or that they may forget what it is they have to say.

Say Good-bye to Paper Clutter

We are bombarded daily with information of all kinds. Some of it we want to remember, some of it we need to know. I recently read that the New York Times Sunday Edition is in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest newspaper in the world. Today’s Mice Nibbling on Tomorrow’s Cheese

“You see, I told you so! I knew that would happen. You ran with that stick – and I was worried to death that you would fall and poke yourself – and look – it happened!”.

Are we there yet? (Becoming the Observer)

Become grateful for the progress you have made and know deep inside it will happen – it is just a matter of ‘when’.

Five things you can (right now) do to increase your sales and get you out of that rut!

What can you do to rev things up a little? Take a few moments to look at five different strategies you can implement that can get you out of that rut - and quickly! When you car is stuck you need tools to pull it out. The same goes with your business. And so I call these 5 tools or strategies my "Business Tow Truck!"

20-20 vision does not mean you can see clearly!

How often have we had things happen in our businesses - good and bad - that we just did not 'see' coming! This is where communication and strategy on all levels is important. Weekly meetings with staff to review issues that have arisen, problems and crisis that could be solved or avoided are integral to keeping a business moving forward.

Finding the time and place

Try to do get a few small jobs out of the way first- again your list gets shorter much faster and that is encouraging!
